ParticipantI am sorry, but I Looked over the information that I could find on the Community Events and it was not clear if the community events page is separate from the EVENTS or in fact could be if one wanted.. like everyone could have their own which could then go on a page just for them. Thanks! k.

ParticipantHi Karen,
There are two Community Events pages and they are separate from the main events page. They are the /community-slug/list and /community-slug/add pages (replace community-slug with your own specific slug).
Does that answer your question?

ParticipantThanks Jonah, Sort of… so.. appearance wise on the site. there would be two separate pages for a viewer to look at? like: http://southernarizonaguide.com/events and http://southernarizonaguide.com/community_events . What if I just wanted to allow people to input events without logging in but I want to moderate and edit them? I am not sure that I understand the whole concept. I can wait till Rob gets back if this is too basic or obtuse. thanks

ParticipantHi Karen,
I would highly recommend checking out the primer videos Rob put together on Community, in particular the 3rd video which should help you with your question: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/community-events-new-user-primer/
There is no actual main community events page, just the add and list pages which you can link to from anywhere (in your main nav menu or via page text).
You can have people submit events without logging in, you just need to enable this option in Settings > The Events Calendar > Community (“Allow anonymous submissions”).
I hope that answers your questions but let me know if you have any others.

ParticipantHi Karen,
Yes, I think I’m answering your question correctly… All community submitted events show up in your main calendar on the same “page”. Does that answer your question?
