ParticipantCasey, I created a post under the contributor and it appears fine with the sidebar intact. I am not sure why logged in as admin it takes up the whole page but we will go with this for now. I have not yet rolled it out to contributors but if I run into issues I will resubmit. Thanks for your help.

Participantyes, This is the one while signed in as admin. You, of course, will not see this. I can send you a login and pass if you like.

Participantthanks, Casey. I will do that but it is not the events submission page that is the issue, it is the LIST events page.

Participantso, then, is there a way to Get a blank template? my sidebars are getting in the way.
karen
Participantbtw. I switched to the 2012 theme and it is still larger than the borders. I will turn the visual editor off.
karen
Participantyou mean you cannot supply me with a CSS such as this that will solve the visual editor problem?
#EventInfo, table.eventForm {
width: 100% !important;
}karen
Participantok, Sorry Casey. I had to clear the w3t cache. it looks fine now. thanks.. onward..
karen
Participantyes, it looks fine in 2012. I would be just as happy to just use the full page.
karen
Participantperhaps you could tell me how to use a default.php without the sidebars. I cannot edit the page and my Events page does not use sidebars either.
karen
Participantno.. sorry, it did not.
karen
Participantso this should be a page without sidebars? I will add it thanks

ParticipantHI, me again… Sorry, I figured it out. I keep putting the start – end date as the recurring date. not just the same day and time.
karen
Participantthank you Joyce. And welcome! and yes, I thought about that , but then would Google be able to find the events? Sometimes I get hits just on my events. I will take a look and see if I can no index just the recurring ones.
