I’m still getting this as well… additionally my custom templates for “add event” are now broken after updating the community plugin
JesseMemberAlso having this issue… It happened all of a sudden and don’t know what caused it (I haven’t made any recent changes to permalinks). I do remember however confirming the automated WordPress database update prompt.
Just letting you know I’m experiencing this issue too and am awaiting patiently the next release! Thanks for your great work, Rob, Jonah, and team.
JesseMemberYes, very helpful. Thank you, Jonah!
JesseMemberKind of but not really…
First scenario: I have a series of custom fields (multiple checkboxes) on each event edit page on the backend. There is a checkbox for each post in the “artist” post type. This is used to associate many artists with one or multiple events. I use http://www.farinspace.com/wpalchemy-metabox/ to achieve this functionality. It would be amazing (and to some degree, completely necessary for my site to function as intended) to be able to use that same class in the community events edit form. I can explain more and send you some snippets in more detail if you want…
Scenario two: I used the “more fields” plugins to add some additional fields to the venue metabox. Just simple text field or textarea meta boxes, like “facebook page”, “website” etc… I think this could probably be achieved through the TEC “Additional fields” functionality but I haven’t tried yet.

thanks!June 11, 2012 at 10:18 am in reply to: Changing or Adding taxonomy to "Submit an Event" in community events. #20479JesseMemberOK, all good.
I got it all figured out with a workaround using wp_insert_terms and wp_set_post_terms to automatically copy terms from tribe_events_cat to my custom taxonomy.
JesseMemberIt seems to be removable like you said for the my-events.php template, but not for event-form.php…

https://gist.github.com/2765375thank you!
JesseMemberDay is just the date with no leading zeros. I.e. ‘5’ for May 5th. Date needs to be a string in YYYY-MM-DD format (Y-m-d)
Please put in PHP comments and documentation.
thanks!
JesseMemberThanks Jonah! Makes sense… i was just confused having discovered the microdata attributes for the first time when digging through the core files. Kudos on the great feature.
