ParticipantHey Michael,
No problem. Happy to help!
I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Alison,
Thanks for clarifying and providing the updated system info.
Sorry for the confusion on the explanation as well. The check I’ve been describing isn’t on the full import, it is at the start of the import and it determines whether to import the event as a new event or import the event as an update to an existing event.
Also, thanks for providing these older CSV files. I’ll test them as well and see if there were any differences that we could take advantage of moving forward.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Sara,
I’m sorry for the confusion here. I’ll reach out to our developers again on this one and clarify the issue with live transactions.
I apologize for the continued issue here. I understand things like this can be frustrating but I assure you we’re working to ensure any issue with this feature gets addressed as quickly as possible.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Patrick,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
For this, I believe the simplest approach would be to create a category for each of the committees to house their meetings. From there you could add a shortcode to each page like:
[tribe_events_list category="category-slug-for-this-committee" limit="1"]This shortcode will add just the next upcoming event that has been assigned to that committee.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Carl,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I apologize for the inconvenience of this issue. Lets get to the bottom of this one quickly. As an initial step, can you send me the iCal link that you’re wanting to import so I can test it to see what particular errors or issues could be happening here?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Darryn,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately we’re unable to provide support for the free Events Calendar plugin in our forums here. Please reach out in our forums on WordPress.org for support for the core calendar plugin.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Simone,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
It sounds like our plugins would work to get you what you’re describing here. Take a look at our Community Manager Bundle and the plugins included there. It should be everything you need to get your site up and running with what you’re describing above.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Ghislain,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Take a look at the first snippet from this knowledgebase article and see if it works to fix the layout issues you’re seeing in the calendar view.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Tylor,
Sure thing! Take a look at this knowledgebase article and snippet and you can use it to move the ticket form wherever you would like.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Sonya,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry to hear you’re having these troubles with our plugin. Would you mind opening a new thread with this information since the issue here is different than what was reported by the original poster here. Doing this allows us to answer each customer directly without having to juggle different customers and issues within the same thread and potentially leaving the original issue unanswered.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Byron,
Thanks for following up with us!
There could potentially be some template overrides within that tribe-events.php file that have the map information removed from being displayed. If you could, take a look within that folder and see if there are any “single-event.php” files or a “modules” folder. If so, could you send the contents from those files (in a gist if you’d like) as a response here and I’ll see if there is anything stands out in those.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Benjamin,
Awesome! Glad you were able to get to the bottom of this one.
For this, you could have another category that you use for “hiding” events from the main calendar. Take a look at this thread and you’ll find some good information on how you could use this approach to get what you’re looking for.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Michael,
You can find all the files that control the different event views within the src > views folder within the plugin.
Thanks!
March 10, 2016 at 8:18 am in reply to: Google calendar link failed with full day and timezone in url #1087185Josh
ParticipantHey,
I’ve done some testing, however I haven’t been able to replicate the failure of the google import when it has “ctz=Europe%2FLondon” included.
When testing, I changed the event timezone to London (https://cloudup.com/cYrrZ15L5bH), verified that the data was in the URL, and Imported into Google successfully (https://cloudup.com/cFI25ODWkJc).
Do you happen to have a live URL that I could check against with an event that is having the issue?
Thanks!
