GuestHello dear.
I am interested to set up a ticket service on my touristic market place http://www.bg.ecoadventures.eu
What I am currently looking for is a plug-in allow me to have a comune calendar with events published from my customers/vendors.
Use woocommerce to collect ticket and apply a little fee on ticket sell.
I already have some thing similar for accommodations and activities but I would like to know how your pulg-ins will fit in my web site.
Best regards.

ParticipantHey Simone,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
It sounds like our plugins would work to get you what you’re describing here. Take a look at our Community Manager Bundle and the plugins included there. It should be everything you need to get your site up and running with what you’re describing above.
Thanks!

GuestHello Josh.
Ok let’s star with first.
Community events:
What is the user able to post a new event? any kind of? Considering I do not want to add a new event page in the front end. Are my users able to add new events from dash board?
From the video you say for setting up recurring events you mast have “pro” version…. of what!? and… considering the price to the total bundle would you mind to add also pro version for thet little feature?
Community ticket:
I am wondering how to set up a commission fee and how it works in the plug in… I am currently useing vc vendors and I mandage payments trough paypal adaptive payments. can I use same woocommerce system… In case a customer buy a ticket and an accommodation how everything is going to work under woocommerce?
I think are a good start. In case I have more question I will add them here.
Thank you for you help.
Best regards
Simone

ParticipantHey Simone,
- With Community Events plugin, there is a page that gets created that allows for either anyone or subscribers to add events to the site depending on the settings you choose for that page. This is only a front-end option and doesn’t impact the ability to add events in the dashboard. This is still limited to the default roles that have ability to add content in the dashboard.
- Yes, the ability to have Recurring Events is only available in our PRO plugin. The feature is supported in the other Community plugins if the Pro plugin is activated, but the PRO plugin does need to be purchased and added separately for that feature
- For a commission fee, are you referring to the commission on the sale of tickets or a commission on when a user submits an event with tickets?
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

GuestI Josh.
Soo… when you have access to the dashboard, whatever is your role, you can add all events you want… is it right? do they have to be moderated aniway?
About Commission I mean on ticket sale…

ParticipantHey Simone,
I believe the role base is Editor for that access. You can test against our free version of the Events Calendar plugin to see if it meets your needs by default in that regard. If not, you could take advantage of a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/capability-manager-enhanced/ to adjust as needed.
The only commissioned based management that we have built into any of our plugins is the Community Events Tickets plugin. Commissions can be managed using just Event Tickets Plus, however it would require additional plugins depending on which cart management solution you chose (WooCommerce, EDD, etc.)
Thanks!
