ParticipantHi Rich,
I just updated to Genesis 1.9.2 in one of my testing enviro’s where I’ve got this code setup and didn’t see any issues like you mentioned. Can you share some of the code you are working with via http://snippi.com/
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi tubacarts,
It should work for you… What code are you using? Can you share it here via http://snippi.com/
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Brian,
I’m not sure how to do this myself but am checking with one of our developers to see if something is feasible without too much work. Stay tuned!
Thanks,

ParticipantHey momodern,
Unfortunately we do not have a paid level of support but if you are in need of some further help with this you can email us @ pro [at] tri [dot] be and we can send you some links of firms that may be able to help you out.
Sorry I cannot offer up more here.

ParticipantHi blizzdesign,
It’s always better to use filters and action hooks when possible and if they’re available for a plugin. Modifying the header.php file like you did should have worked but there must have been something the AISEO plugin was doing to prevent your changes from working. Like you say, if it works that’s mainly what matters 😉
Let us know if you need help with anything else!

ParticipantHi Anna,
Can you give me an example of an event you are importing so I can try it out on my end?
Thanks,

ParticipantSounds good humberlife, glad that worked! Let us know if there’s anything else you need help with.

ParticipantHi alliedcomputer,
The only thing the license does for you is provides you with access to auto updates. So, yes you can use the plugin in both environments. I would suggest attaching the license to the beta site so you can run auto updates during development (without having to manually update), and then change the registered domain once you’ve gone live. You can do this easily through the Account Central > License Keys menu above.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

ParticipantHi lloydsilver,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. I’ve done some more testing and found a possible workaround for now. It does seem like there is some bug though and I’m going to create a ticket for this for one of the devs to take a look at. So what I found is that if you first set the default ticket display to ‘On’ in the Events > Settings > General tab (http://cl.ly/image/3J2p0U3Q1C01) and then import the event like usual, if you try to Publish the event from the edit screen it will not work. This appears to be part of the bug. But, if you go to the events list in the administration and Quick Edit that event, you can Publish it there and then make any changes and the ticket window should display. Please try this out and let me know if that works for you. Like I said I’ll create a ticket for one of the devs to take a look at this issue.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Anna,
Sorry for the late response here. When I click on events in the calendar view, I’m taken to the single event listing. Did you get this resolved?

Jonah
ParticipantHi Brian,
It might be possible. Can you give me an example of why you would want to do this?

ParticipantHi blizzdesign,
Unfortunately no, I don’t. Try WordPress SEO and see if that works. I think that’s a better plugin anyway. And, I wrote this snippet that should help you customize the titles without having to hack your header.php – https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/3710617
I hope that helps!

ParticipantHi maxou82,
Try this Gist: https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/5769558 – place that wherever you want in the single event template by making a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/single.php and placing in an ‘events’ folder in your theme.
I hope that helps but let me know if you need anything else.

ParticipantHi Jeff,
Sorry for the late response here, for some reason I didn’t get notified that you responded. It’s hard to say exactly what to do without having some idea of what you want to do. With CSS you can do a lot. Do you have a mockup or anything to go off of? Or can you give me an example of something you’d like to do and I can give you some CSS to work with?
