ParticipantHi Paul,
Can you login into Account Central in the upper right? You should be able to retrieve your info there. Let me know whether or not that helps.

ParticipantHi Fergus,
Sorry to hear about the troubles. I would suggest first deactivating all other plugins to see if there is a conflict going on. If that doesn’t work try reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme because there may be something in your theme that’s causing issues. Let me know if either of those routes helps.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Paul,
Try switching the eventDisplay arg to ‘past’ instead. Each eventDisplay option sets it own order argument. You could also try using pre_get_posts to affect the query that way.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantHi Paul,
You can using something like this (http://wp-snippets.com/custom-admin-css/) to add custom CSS the administration and then find the selector for that item to hide it. I hope that helps!

ParticipantThanks for this Leland! Any chance you’d be willing to share your plugin on the .org repo? We’d love to expand our base of add-ons for the plugin 🙂
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Peter,
Currently this is how the plugin operates but I agree that something is not right with this way of doing things. I’ve brought it up to the team and we will look at changing this behavior in a future version. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

ParticipantHi Robert,
Sorry to hear about this. Do you have a link you can share so I can see the problem in action?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi David,
I’m not exactly sure what the problem could be and will need some more information in order to troubleshoot. Where is the shortcode placed and do you have a link you can share so I can see it in action?
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Tony,
Looking at your website now it looks like this is resolved. Can you please confirm?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Charles,
Unfortunately when you upgraded, all your events get migrated in a way that will not make them available any longer in 1.3.2. What you’ll need to do is actually revert the database too.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantHi Christian,
Make a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/single.php and place in an ‘events’ folder in your theme. Then find lines 21-29 (the block of code dealing with the date/time and modify to something like this: https://gist.github.com/3421708
I hope that helps but let me know if you need anything else.

ParticipantHi Sean,
The comment marked as answered here (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/category-title/#post-21971) should work for you. If you want it showing in the list and gridview you’ll need to modify /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/list.php for the list and /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/gridview.php for the grid. Make sure you make copies of both those files and place in an ‘events’ folder in your theme.
Let me know how that goes.

ParticipantGlad to hear it Selig! Let us know if there’s anything else we can do.

ParticipantHi Shaun,
You might want to try reinstalling the plugins first because it looks like something didn’t get installed right. Also, make sure you are running the latest version of both core and PRO (2.0.8) and WordPress. If that doesn’t work, check to see if you have any template overrides in place in an ‘events’ folder in your theme. If you do, you’ll want to compare your file changes and customizations with the core templates, making sure you have all the latest code. And finally, if none of that helps, try deactivating all other plugins and reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if there’s a conflict with a plugin or your theme.
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Antonio,
I’m not sure if this is possible. I’ve never actually tried it myself and I don’t know if the functionality built into the plugin even supports this. You’ll need to play around with things in the templates yourself to try and get it working. Good luck!
