ParticipantHi Conwin,
Regarding #1, you may not be able to use the Default Page Template without some modification. I would need to take a look at your theme’s page.php file in order to know more. Can you please post to http://snippi.com/?
On #2, that’s strange. Please try manually reinstalling the core plugin again, and manually updating the PRO plugin to 3.0.3 and see if this helps.
Thanks,
JonahJonah

ParticipantHi Tom,
You can try wrapping code in “code” tags here in the forum or you can post code with pastebin or I personally like http://snippi.com/
Please provide what you’re working with and I’ll be able to take a closer look.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Philippe,
When trying to recreate this same issue I was able to successfully get the date to change for all events, but what it did for me was leave the original event behind as a non-recurring event. This appears to be a bug and I’ve logged it as such. Are you seeing this behavior too or are you still seeing something else? Would you be able to provide a screencast of the process so we can better understand all the steps you’re taking? Jing (http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html) is a great free tool to assist with this.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHey guys, as Sean pointed out that should be where you need to look but let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

ParticipantOh excellent Susan, I’m glad that worked for you! Let us know if you need help with anything else.

ParticipantHi marisawriter,
Are the events actually duplicating? What the greyed out box means is that that event has already been imported and will not be imported again. So, in the case where you run an auto-import, after events have been imported they should also showed greyed out like this.
Does that make sense? Is this not the behavior you are seeing?

ParticipantHi odezdesigns,
Yep, we launched v3.0 when we launched 3.0 of the main plugin. Please update and this message should go away.

ParticipantHi all,
Sorry about all the troubles and our inaccurate documentation. Well, it actually is accurate but we’re working out some bugs in the code that is preventing the correct method for overriding the CSS (as indicated in the guide) from working. That fix should be coming out in the next release soon, but for now as other have instructed in this thread the best solution is to:
1. Add CSS to your theme’s style.css file using proper selectors in order to override and have a higher specification than our styles.
2. Use the methods discussed by Andy in this thread: https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-3-0-not-working-with-theme
I hope that helps and again I apologize for any frustration this has caused people. We’re fixing bugs as fast as we can!

ParticipantHi Suzanne,
You’ve got some script errors on the page unrelated to our plugin, which is likely causing the issues with the mini-calendar ajax. Please look at these script errors and fix them.
On the 404 issue, what is the fix you applied?

ParticipantHi Ali,
The easiest and best way to do this is with a filter. The following should do it for you: https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/6004437
Add that to your theme’s functions.php file. I hope that helps but let me know if you need anything else.

July 15, 2013 at 4:20 pm in reply to: Calendar view not appearing on events category pages after update to 3.0 #55311Jonah
ParticipantHi selfdiscoveryadventures,
Sorry to hear about the troubles here. First off, we currently have a bug that will be fixed soon where event categories will not pay attention to the default view setting and will default to the list view. You’ll need to manually append a /month to the end of your category links to get them to show the calendar view. But, it looks like something else is going on before that… What theme are you running? Have you tried changing the Event Template in Events > Settings > Display to something else? That may help.

ParticipantHi freshmint,
Sorry to hear about the trouble. Is this happening with a particular event you’re trying to import or all? Do you have debug set to true in your wp-config.php file by chance? What versions of the plugin are you running? Can you please also try deactivating all other plugins to ensure it’s not another plugin conflicting with ours?
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Paul,
This would be fairly complicated and unfortunately not something we can help you with. You’ll need to dig around and/or hire someone to help you. Good luck!

ParticipantHi ellaearth,
This is something your theme is adding. The easiest way would be to remove them with CSS. I’d need to look at your page to give you a snippet of code to work with. Can you provide a link for me to look at?
Thanks,
