ParticipantUsing Event Calendar 3.0.1 and Event Calendar Pro 3.0.2 on a test site: creating a repeating event (weekly in this case) generally works fine.
However, this did not work as expected:
– I created an Event, but forgot to change its date from today (monday) to wednesday.
– set it to repeat weekly
– saved the event
– after saving, noticed monday instead of wednesday
– went to change that, saved “for all events”.All sorts of fun stuff happened after that: events were not displayed as repeating in overview, despite it clearly being set in the event itself; after a while, the event stopped being displayed completely, in list or calendar view, even though there still are two events in the events overview list.
Now waiting to see what ECP 3.0.3 does…July 15, 2013 at 5:26 am #55165Philippe Braun
ParticipantJust noticed: changing a repeating events’ time also changes the event to non-repeating in Events list and Calendar view, even though “repeating every week until date” is still set in the event itself. Repeating events still seem to be a bit wobbly.

ParticipantHi Philippe,
When trying to recreate this same issue I was able to successfully get the date to change for all events, but what it did for me was leave the original event behind as a non-recurring event. This appears to be a bug and I’ve logged it as such. Are you seeing this behavior too or are you still seeing something else? Would you be able to provide a screencast of the process so we can better understand all the steps you’re taking? Jing (http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html) is a great free tool to assist with this.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Jonah
I’ll be away for a few days. After that I’ll try to redo my steps and screencast it.
The solution was quite simple: turn “repeating” off for the event and then back on made everything go back to normal.
Seeing an event marked as non-repeating in the list while clearly repeating weekly for months in the event view was rather special, though, as was seeing the events starting to disappear in the calendar view 🙂

ParticipantSounds good Phil, I look forward to sesing the screencast!
Thanks,
