ParticipantHi Sheila,
Some people have had issues with the 2.0.10 update but I think these were all isolated incidents not anything that was affecting everyone. You can view all the release notes here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/release-the-events-calendarpro-2-0-10/
I’m not sure about the license expiry stuff, can you please create a new thread for that issue and I’ll get someone better prepared to answer those questions to help you?
Thanks,

ParticipantHey Mark,
Yeah you can setup post type specific search. Here’s one way but I’m sure there are others: http://dbaines.com/blog/archive/wordpress-custom-post-type-multiple-search/
The post type you want to specify is ‘tribe_events’.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantRight, but how are you placing the widget there? Through the Appearance > Widgets interface or via PHP code? The latter will not work as there are dependancies that need to load for the widget to work and we have a ticket out to fix this in a future version. For now you will need to use it by adding it via the Widgets interface.

ParticipantHi Kevin,
It’s certainly possible to include more info in the popups for the calendar widget but you’ll need to figure out how to do it on your own. A start would be to override the calendar widget view file in /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/table-mini.php – you can change any of the HTML/PHP that you want there to include more information per event.
As for the loading icon in the calendar widget… How are you placing this widget on the page?

ParticipantHi gulfshoremedia,
Glad that helped! By search do you mean a way for visitors to filter events by date/location/etc? While not currently built in to the plugin, it can and has been done by other users but unfortunately I don’t have any examples for you to share. We are planning on incorporating this sort of functionality in our 3.0 release but no ETA on that yet. It’s coming though!

ParticipantHey ML, where there’s a will there’s a way. There’s no specific built in solution for this but you could achieve it somehow with a custom query and maybe somehow matching what is done with the query for the calendar widget. Not something we can help you with though. You’ll need to work it out on your own. Good luck!

ParticipantHey gulfshoremedia,
Please take a look at my answer in this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/calendar-page-title-shows-title-of-an-event-and-wont-change/#post-19270
Cheers,

ParticipantHey Kevin, got a link to the page where this is happening?
Jonah
ParticipantHi Kevin,
Where would the summary appear? The widget is already pretty small and so are the popups…

ParticipantThanks, I’ve reopened that thread so hopefully you can in touch with Javier. If not, you can always hire someone to help you or research setting up breakpoints and working with responsive design on the net. Here’s a good place to start: http://mobile.smashingmagazine.com/2010/07/19/how-to-use-css3-media-queries-to-create-a-mobile-version-of-your-website/
Good luck!

ParticipantYeah, apparently the plugin only auto imports past events but I’m going to create a feature request to at least have the option of auto importing past events. Seems like a good idea to me…
Yes, please start another topic for the other issue.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantPerfect, please let us know if there’s anything else you need.
Thanks,

ParticipantHey David,
Can you try creating an event that is in the future and then checking the import screen again?
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Louise,
I’d be happy to re-open that thread if that would help you get a hold of Javier. Can you post the link here?

ParticipantHi Werner,
There’s been some implementations on this in the forum but nothing official. We do have plans to implement some of this functionality in v3.0 but there’s no ETA on when that will be out. For now, you’ll need to roll your own. Good luck!
