    Hi,

    I’m pretty sure I followed the steps to set this up to a T. I’m trying to do an auto import, but the plugin is telling me my page doesn’t have any events even though it does. I set it to import hourly, set up a public test event, and it still hasn’t pulled through after an hour and a half. It does come through when I enter it manually (event ID is 376753922405674). (The layout is horrible when it does come through, but that’s a topic for another thread.)

    Let me know what other information you need from me to troubleshoot.

    Hi David,

    Did you try creating a Facebook App ID as discussed here: https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-create-a-facebook-app-id/

    Yep, set up the app and plugged in the App ID and Secret as directed.

    And you’ve also tried deactivating all other plugins and/or reverting your theme to Twenty Eleven?

    Yes, I checked all those boxes when I submitted this thread.

    Right, I saw that, just had to verify because some people do check those boxes but don’t actually do it… What’s the Facebook page you’re trying to import from?

    Gotcha.

    The page is http://facebook.com/fatalien215

    The plugin is detecting the page, it’s just not seeing the event. When I go to Import FB Events, it says “The Naked Sun doesn’t have any Facebook events.”

    Can you try creating an event that is in the future and then checking the import screen again?

    Yeah, apparently the plugin only auto imports past events but I’m going to create a feature request to at least have the option of auto importing past events. Seems like a good idea to me…
