ParticipantI am pulling my hair out over this one. In list view it is showing my events correctly, but it is taking the event that is first in the list and making it the page header. Any ideas on how I can change this? See: http://sarasotamagazine.com/events/

ParticipantThanks Jonah. This helped right away. I am not sure if this question has been answered somewhere in this forum so maybe you can point me in the right direction one last time. Is there a way I can incorporate a search into my events calendar or events list page?

ParticipantHi gulfshoremedia,
Glad that helped! By search do you mean a way for visitors to filter events by date/location/etc? While not currently built in to the plugin, it can and has been done by other users but unfortunately I don’t have any examples for you to share. We are planning on incorporating this sort of functionality in our 3.0 release but no ETA on that yet. It’s coming though!

ParticipantHi Jonah,
I wanted a way to restrict searches to events only. This way I can either add via a sidebar widget or hardcode a search box that wont return every hit on the site, only hits that are events.

ParticipantHey Mark,
Yeah you can setup post type specific search. Here’s one way but I’m sure there are others: http://dbaines.com/blog/archive/wordpress-custom-post-type-multiple-search/
The post type you want to specify is ‘tribe_events’.
I hope that helps!
