April 18, 2018 at 9:09 am in reply to: No previews generated for many Facebook events so unable to import! #1510225TomParticipant
Please issue a refund. I send a refund request to support at theeventscalendar dot com. The only reason I purchased this 10 days ago was because the legacy FB Events import stopped working. Your rep Jamie told me the EA was my only option, and didn’t give me any warning at all that it was also having issues, even though there was an official post about it as early as April 6:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/importing-from-facebook-please-read-this-notice/If he had been honest and me about it, I would never have purchased it and wasted my money and time with not being able to import FB events.
July 27, 2017 at 2:54 pm in reply to: Excessive executions on server by adminajax.php and/or slow MySQL queries #1327162TomParticipantMy host has suggested using this plugin to debug the slow mysql queries but its beyond my level of knowledge:
Does anyone know a good WP developer who can help me troubleshoot?
April 4, 2017 at 1:52 am in reply to: Submission Box is narrow and does not fit entire page #1263892TomParticipantNever mind! I found the file in the right directory and changed line 1244 to 100%. It did not have an effect.

TomParticipantUpgrading to 4.4.4 worked! Thanks, Courtney! 🙂
TomParticipantOh wait..nevermind. You said Event Calendar PRO 4.4.4. I don’t see that update available?
TomParticipantThat is not correct. I am running 4.4.4…here’s a snippet of system info which you should already be able to see as I have it set to be shared automatically with Modern Tribe support:

Yes I saw that already in the documentation and made sure it’s using the right quotes and yes, you can tell it’s showing both featured and unfeatured events together (featured events show up as blue).
March 8, 2017 at 12:58 am in reply to: Can I import events in bulk from my Facebook Events page? #1250933TomParticipantGeoff,
Just starting to play around with EA and my question is similar. With the legacy importer, I could manually import FB events in bulk, with the field “Import events by their Facebook ID:….One event ID per line”
That was the most useful feature for me because I import FB events from all sorts of sources…personal pages, pages, groups, and it was an easy fast way to quickly import many unrelated FB events. Does the EA not have a way to import many unrelated FB events at the same time like the legacy importer did?
TomParticipantThanks for the update Nico. I have a test site now. How do I do an update on the test site if the license is tied to the live site?
TomParticipantNico, I don’t have a staging site, so I haven’t been able to upgrade to test.
