Hi,
I switched to another theme but the issue remains (I switched to Buttons). I will try a non-customized theme tonight and see how that goes.

Hurray, I fixed it with your help.
I did what you wrote but it didn’t fully solve it. However, I went into Menus > Menu structure > Change the URL for the custom link for the Find vintage events > and now it WORKS!!!! The URL is correct.
And now my main issue is solved too and I can create hyperlinks that are not cut off!
Thank you so much. I especially appreciate the way you responded in explaining how things work and why we took certain steps.
Off I got to improve the site thanks to you! I am so excited. And it also solved the ugly URL I had for that page.

in a way they are duplicates in that they have also been entered by the organizer through community events. I guess i could keep the one from the FB import but that means a lot of copying and pasting and sometimes it is a timing issue.
I can use the PRIVATE or DRAFT solution as a work around but long term it doesn’t sound like an ideal solution. Would you consider adding an option to delete a Facebook event or choose not to import it?

I am going to have to wait for the fix as I am not familiar enough with the back end to change anything.
I appreciate the response and hope it it is fixed soon. Until then, I will put the URL elsehwere.

Hi, I had the same issue and the solution for me was simple: I had the wordpress time set as UTC instead of the time zone that I am in. I fixed it in my General settings and now my event appears.
Thank you! I removed it for now and will get someone to help me at a later point.
