ParticipantHi, I can do this. But it would help if I knew the logic used by your plugin to determine the order of the events in Photoview. Here is the 2015 shot, you can see the vents are still not date synced. So how can this be a Divi theme issue?? 2015 image in next part of thread.

ParticipantOk, so I have spent quite a bit of time diagnosing this problem… I have (after deactivating all non events plugins) tried 2015 theme, Divi Theme (none child) and my Divi Chiled theme and had the same issue i.e. events in photo not displaying in the correct date order. But, here’s the thing ; the date orders were different in each view. i.e. in 2015 theme there were different date discrepancies than Divi and my Divi Child theme were different too (custom CSS added).. interesting huh?? so it is clearly an issue with the browser and sizing display. Just to add to the data for problem solving see the two attached files. They are snippets of the same view taken on my laptop; one uses Explorer, the other Chrome. Notice when viewed in Explorer the dates are sequenced correctly, but the same events are not sequenced correctly in Chrome. AND when the explorer view is moved to a 22″ display, the dates sequence incorrectly again (spooky huh!!)
So, the variable in all cases is the size of the photo view, which differs across 2015, Divi and my Divi Child theme (my child theme has custom coding to create an excerpt and fix the container height, hence the two Divi views are different). I think the issue is based around the sizing of the containers within browsers and different displays. This needs serious attention methinks. We are due to go live this weekend and this will halt the launch unless it can be fixed. Hope to hear from you quickly… many thanks
John Paul

ParticipantI think I have solved the problem 😉 in the woocommerce email settings there are options for amending the subjects for the emails.. The option for the Event tickets says
”Your course tickets from {sitename}’ it then states it will default to {site_title} but clearly it isn’t.
I amended the subject to ‘Your course tickets from {site_title}
and it seems to have worked.
John Paul
ParticipantHi, I followed the same process you outlined above..
I also deactivate all but the necessary plugins and switched from my child theme. But I have the same problem.
I noticed you placed an order , which I have confirmed. What do you see at your end?
Which file would generate this email title? src/email.php ??? Perhaps I will have to add it to my child theme and force the right name through the code??
John Paul
ParticipantHi , I changed theme to 2012 and deactivated all plugins except the modern tribe and woocommerce core plugin
I had the same problem
I notice that in woocommerce the email short code displays as {site_title} whereas the events tickets seems to be
{sitename} I mention it, in case it is relevant.System information

Participantthank you

ParticipantI can certainly do this, but I find it hard to believe that the plugin doesn’t have the feature to fix this. Why would anyone want to send an email where the address that appears in the purchasers in box has this title?? It maybe I haven’t made the problem clear.. I have attached screenshots..
With all the other emails sent to the purchaser through woocommmerce it looks like screenshot ’email 1′ but the email the user gets when the tickets arrive looks like screenshot ’email’

ParticipantHi, I have fixed it… here is how… it was related to a request I made ealrier in June to change ‘no stock available’ to ‘sold out’ .. see below
”You can override the template file for the tickets form and that will allow you to customize the message.
To do that:
Make a copy of the tickets.php file. It’s located at /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php
Make a new folder in your theme directory called tribe-events
Make a new folder in that one called wootickets
Drop the copied tickets.php file in that last folder
Now that the template is in your theme, you can modify it to suit your needs. In this case, change the messaging for “Out of Stock” which starts on line 86.”
_________________________________________On inspection I noticed that in the new update the tickets.php had a change to the way the meta file was called in. So I copied the new file into the child theme .. and ‘bingo’ it all worked…
cheers
