But the mail function has been working for several years with no problem using WooTickets. Why would it malfunction now?

chesapeakeghostwalksParticipantHello Geoff.
Thanks for the reply. In response to your questions:Is is possible that you are using the “Try to set order to complete” setting under Events -> Settings -> Tickets ?
We are not using the “set order to complete” with the tickets. That box remains unchecked.
Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?
I sent a dropbox link with a text file to the [email protected] Couldn’t find another email address.
Have you, at any point, tried to edit the stock count or the ticket info while the faulty tickets were on sale ?
We are adjusting stock count (through the “Edit ticket” feature on the event page) all the time. When tickets run low we sometimes add additional tickets. We have no idea which tickets are faulty and which aren’t when we adjust quantities.
Can you recreate this issue with a brand new ticket on your end ?
Since the flaw is arbitrary we cannot intentionally reproduce it.
Thanks.

chesapeakeghostwalksParticipantAlso.. after an event is created and saved, if you go into a ticket choosing the option “edit in WooCommerce” and save it, all information regarding the venue vanishes. It goes back to “Add a new Venue” even after the venue info has been added and saved.
chesapeakeghostwalksParticipantI don’t understand. Yes, I want to add an order for guests who showed up and paid at the door so that I can keep track of all who paid for that event. Is there any documentation that shows step-by-step instructions for adding an order through WooCommerce?
Also when went to WooCommerce>Oders Page>Add Order and I searched for tickets for a specific event…..a) not all events showed up, even when I tried searching for tickets at a certain event … and b) the items that do appear in the search are existing orders. How is that helpful?chesapeakeghostwalksParticipantYeah, I did that. Yes then the inventory is the issue. I added back in the same number of tickets that I cancelled for the event, because cancelling or even refunding didn’t add the spaces used by the cancelled tickets back in.
So now it looks like I have 8 more spaces above the maximum allowed. But I’m guessing that’s the only way.
Question: Working with Tickets – must I add in the inventory through the TICKETS interface or can I add them directly through Woo Commerce?
chesapeakeghostwalksParticipantAnd, what would the best way be to manually add the customer’s order of tickets to the proper date?
chesapeakeghostwalksParticipantSAME PROBLEM – Had a customer order 6 tickets for Ocean City Walk 7/2. His single order posted to all the Ocean City walks and reduced the inventory in all the walks. His ticket showed that he was signed up for the walk on 6/4 which was the first in the recurring series.
So … It appears that when a customer orders a ticket from an event that was created as a recurring event, woo tickets posts the order to all in the series and issues the customer a ticket for the first in the series.
Why?
February 5, 2014 at 6:18 pm in reply to: Duplicating Events and shortening title for calendar view. #101236chesapeakeghostwalksParticipantI have a need to duplicate events as well. I use The Events Calender Pro and Woo Tickets. When the tickets are created a product is generated in WooCommerce. That product (which is a ticket) can be duplicated, but it’s independent of an event. It too bad there isn’t a way to make a standard variable ticket product that could be added to an event… similar to the way the venue works.
