    If a customer orders tickets for the wrong date (same event but different date than desired), what is the best way to cancel those tickets and add them to the proper date? I don’t mind manually adjusting inventory through TICKETS, but how do I get those original – misordered tickets off my Attendance List?

    And, what would the best way be to manually add the customer’s order of tickets to the proper date?

    Hi!

    There’s no way (that is built-in) to wholesale remove entries from the attendee list, which is by design: even if an order was deleted, the attendee entry will remain, albeit the status ought to indicate that the corresponding entry was an indeed deleted.

    With that in mind, refunding or cancelling the order then manually creating a new order (via WooCommerce’s add new order screen) for the relevant ticket product is the correct way to proceed here.

    Yeah, I did that. Yes then the inventory is the issue. I added back in the same number of tickets that I cancelled for the event, because cancelling or even refunding didn’t add the spaces used by the cancelled tickets back in.

    So now it looks like I have 8 more spaces above the maximum allowed. But I’m guessing that’s the only way.

    Question: Working with Tickets – must I add in the inventory through the TICKETS interface or can I add them directly through Woo Commerce?

    Yes: you should be able to adjust inventory via the WooCommerce order editor if you prefer to increase inventory that way. Does that answer your question?
