Participantseattledog,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you try setting the page template to the ‘Default Events Template’ to see if your events display correctly after that? I’m trying to narrow down the issue to see if it’s something specific to Genesis or your Child theme. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantI just played around with it for about an hour and it’s pretty much worse now than before.
Could you outline some of the steps that you performed? Were you ever able to test for conflicts as I suggested above?
I deactivated the plugin itself and reactivated it and now it’s basically just showing a page with no graphics. It *may* be the plugin itself?
Could you give me a bit more information on what page you were trying to access? I’m seeing the calendar and submission form display without any issues on the front-end of your site: http://theballstonjournal.com/events/
If you could give me some more information, that will help me to try to track down the issue you’re having here. Thanks!

ParticipantKaren,
Did you try any of my suggestion above? I think this might be related to your hosting setup and not having enough memory available to WordPress:You should not be disabling the WP Cron, unless you’re also manually defining a cron job on your server, since ECP uses WP Cron to clean up past instances of recurring events. Another thing you might try is to increase the PHP memory limit on your server. It’s possible that your server is timing out because there’s not enough resources to create all instances of your event.
Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Participantislwebmaster,
Since we’ve confirmed that this is indeed an issue related to your custom theme, I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread. In the mean time, I would suggest reaching out to the developer of your theme for further help on tracking down the duplicate jQuery issue. Good luck, and please feel free to start a new thread if you run into other issues. Thanks! 🙂
