Participantesgudger,
Thanks for getting in touch! Can you give me some more specifics, such as a screenshot or URL where I can see this issue occurring and troubleshoot further? Thanks! π-Casey-

Participantcozzette,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m seeing that your site is still running version 3.5.1 of the plugin. We recently released version 3.5.2 to address this exact issue, so could you update to the latest version and let me know if you’re still experiencing issues? Thanks! π-Casey-

Participantstarfiresports,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you try resaving your permalinks to see if this resolves the issue? You can do this by going to Settings->Permalinks and clicking ‘Save’. Give that a shot and let me know if it resolves the issue. Thanks! π

ParticipantRoss,
Yes, this is definitely a bug that has been logged for our developers to fix. In the mean time, the functionality of your plugins will not be affected, and when you need to update the plugin, you can do so manually by downloading a copy on your downloads page.Sorry for the inconvenience here, and let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks! π

Participantkip,
Can you try deactivating all other plugins to see if that resolves the issue? If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine if another plugin is the culprit. If that doesn’t help, could you also try installing the plugins on a clean install of WordPress to see if this issue persists? It’s possible that upgrading & downgrading has caused some of your event data to become corrupt, and is causing the upgrade process to get “stuck.”
Give those suggestions a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! π

ParticipantThanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. π

ParticipantDaniella,
We’ve also just released a hotfix that we anticipate will fix your issues here. So, go ahead and update and let us know if you’re still experiencing issues with duplicate events. Thanks! π-Casey-

Participantimmeemz,
In order to continue to try to replicate this, can you also send me a screenshot of your date settings page in WordPress? Thanks! π-Casey-
Casey
Participantimmemz,
Ok, it looks like this is related to using the French translation, as our team was just able to replicate the issue exactly using the steps you provided. Just to confirm, can you temporarily switch your clean install over to English, so we can rule out server configuration? Thanks! π-Casey-
Casey
Participantimmeemz,
Are you running your sites on a windows server or Linux server?Casey
Participantimmeemz,
I followed your steps above exactly and wasn’t able to replicate the issue as you described in the ‘pending review’ state. However, I was able to replicate this in the ‘draft’ state, which is why I created a ticket for our developers to review further.Could you send me a screenshot of your entire Community events settings page in the clean install, so I can ensure that I’m testing with exactly the same settings you have? Also, are you running WordPress 3.9 in the clean install? I’m just curious if that has any impact on what you’re seeing. Thanks! π

ParticipantAnnarosa,
Glad I was able to help out! When it comes to customization, while weβre happy to help point users in the right direction towards accomplishing a desired customization, we definitely don’t have the support resources to help with large customizations or changes. So, keep that in mind as you’re posting questions on the forum. πCan I assume that your issue is all resolved here? If so, I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as answered and close it out. Thanks again!
