ParticipantThat makes sense. If Membermouse is logging you in to WordPresss, which it seems like they are, then there should be no reason to logout and back in again. Our plugin in this respect is just a standard WordPress plugin that implements WP Custom Post Types. This makes it pretty broadly compatible. If Membermouse is even relatively compatible with the standard WP Eco system (and it seems probably that they are) it would be unlikely to conflict, especially because our plugin does very little to user accounts or logins.
So far I have not seen anyone running the two plugins with each other. Although, I have seen a number of users state that they intended to and have not reported back with any issues. Unfortunately this is the extent of my knowledge. Please let me know if I can be of further help though. Thanks!

ParticipantThank you sschur. I will look into that.
Another possible fix is to add this snippet to your theme’s functions.php. It completely disable the activation/update screen and will persist across plugin updates. http://pastebin.com/FAvMaaH6

ParticipantHey Tony, when you have had a chance to update to TEC and Community the latest versions would you mind retesting this? I believe it has been fixed in 3.8. I am no longer able to reproduce it, but I just want to confirm. It was not part of our official changelog for the last release, but it might have been fixed anyways! Cheers!

ParticipantThanks for sharing your code! That is perfect for folks looking here.
It looks like this topic slipped past our archiver. We tend to archive anything older than two weeks in an effort to keep things tidy and focused on a single issue. I am going to do that now.

ParticipantThat was odd. Thank you for posting the solution. I have not seen a similar issue, at least one that I suspect is related. But if anyone comes across this thread and does have the same problem please reach out, it would be great to isolate this and try to find a bug our code if there is one.
I am actually going to archive this since we try to keep things to one person and issue a thread, and this one is resolved. But please feel free to open a new thread and link to this one if anyone wants to further the discussion.
Thanks rdk4845.

ParticipantHowdy!
Good question. Our recurring events allows you to setup a recurring event that will propogate to future years. Have an event that occurs on the 1st of August every year? Setup a simple recurrence. Same goes for the fourth Friday of every month, on Monday every 3 weeks.. Pretty much most every pattern you can imagine. You can manually set when a recurrence ends, like if it happens next. year. Or you can set it to never end, and will continue recurring forever.
You can certainly visit each of the 12 calendar months and press print on each, giving you 12 pages. You might try that on this page to see what happens by default: http://wpshindig.com/events/ Of course using standard CSS you can customize the efault page there, say you want to hide certain info, add color, etc. All of that is very doable with the usual CSS.
Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for posting!

ParticipantHowdy!
Thanks for posting. I can sadly not speak specifically about Membermouse’s features, my only familiarity with them comes from the time I just spent reviewing their website. However, I can fill you in on how our plugin works.
Any WordPress Admin or Subscriber when logged in to WordPress can add and edit events. By default those events they add are viewable to anyone visitng your website, whether the visitor is logged in or not. It should not matter if they logged in via WordPress or Membermouse because they do not have to be logged in at all to view those events.
Technical details: The plugin itself just uses the standard WordPress login. Any other plugin which logs you into WordPress is likely to be fully compatible. The plugin pages are pretty run of the miss custom post types.
Hopefully that helps answer your question, or gives you enough info to work with Member Mouse. Keep in mind that The Events Calendar is a free download so you can try the basic features, only addons cost money. Please let me know if you have any more questions. If not, mind marking this resolved? Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Martin! That particular option is actually in the information box on the setting screen. Checkout this screenshot.
If you need further assistance please feel free to open a new topic. I am actually going to archive this one, somehow it slipped through our archive net. But we do request that each person opens a new topic for their individual issue, as we have found that this tends to get folks faster and better responses. Cheers!
