ParticipantHi,ย royalwise! I just wanted to check in and see how things were going.
I’m hoping that no news is good news. ๐ Were you able to get your events importing successfully?
Kelly
ParticipantHi, nysci. It looks like you’re leaving out the 9 at the beginning of the ID. Would you mind trying the longer ID (9562111533)?
Like I said, it’s working for me, so beyond backing up the site, uninstalling the plugins and reconfiguring everything, I’m not sure what else to recommend.

ParticipantHi, mjmaltby. I just checked and those credentials don’t work for me. ๐
Also, please take advantage of the troubleshooting steps I suggested. We have a 24-hour response time, so I can’t guarantee anything will happen with your site before tomorrow at this point.
Thanks for understanding! ๐

ParticipantGreat question, klara! ๐
As it happens, we have a tutorial for just your situation! ๐ Please check it out here:

Hopefully, that should do the trick! ๐

ParticipantHi, Amala. I’m sorry to hear that these options won’t work for you. ๐ I’m afraid that’s about the best I can offer in the forum here.
If you’d like help digging further into the issue, I’m happy to offer you a list of developers that you might be able to partner with. Please let me know if you’re interested, and I’ll get you some names right away.
Also, I encourage you to visit our UserVoice page to vote for registration type features. We select which features are implemented based on community demand there, so if it’s something you’d like to see us build into a product, that’s the best way to make it happen.
Best of luck!

ParticipantHi, nysci. Thanks for the link to your event on Eventbrite. That’s very helpful. ๐
I was able to test an import on my sandbox system with Twenty Thirteen as the theme and no outside plugins activated. As you can see, the ticket box shows up just fine:ย http://d.pr/i/5bRu. ๐ So at least we know that once you get the issue with your setup resolved itย should work! ๐
That said, since it worked for me, would you mind trashing the event on your WP site and then reimporting it using the Eventbrite ID? I’m hoping that will be a quick way to ensure the event is synced between the systems. Also, once you get to the event editing page in WordPress, please double check to confirm that the “Display tickets on event page” has the “Yes” radio button selected, as shown here:ย http://d.pr/i/nJir.
Hope that gets you back in business! ๐

ParticipantHi, mjmaltby. Great question! ๐
I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the set up of our plugins. ๐ It’s hard for me to say exactly what the matter is as I can’t see your site, and I don’t have access to your Notepad. (Our forum doesn’t accept attachments.) Let me see if walking you through some basic troubleshooting steps can help.
FIrst, please ensure that you have all the necessary plugins installed. For you installation this means you need, at minimum, The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce Tickets.
Second, if you haven’t had a chance to take advantage of them, many users find going through our New User Primers helpful in resolving setup issues.
If neither of those do the trick, I’ll probably need to have access to your site before I can get to the bottom of things. You’re welcome to reply privately to this thread with credentials if that ends up being the route we need to take.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi, Amala. I’m sorry to hear that you don’t find that option compelling. ๐
It’s sounds to me like the root of the problem is that WooCommerce doesn’t have this functionality out of the box, and WooCommerce Tickets merely harnesses the power of what’s already built out in WooCommerce. For users to appear in the attendee list, they must have completed an order.
That said, I personally employ messaging on one of my sites to allow for registration by buying a free ticket while communicating that there will be a fee collected at the venue. I have had no issue with push back from those attending the events. Our templates are quite flexible, and you are welcome to override them to say whatever you like.
As far as completing orders in a more automated fashion, there are third party plugins that will help you with that. A search of the forum should yield many candidates.
Hope that’s helpful! ๐

ParticipantHi, commander1313. Sorry to hear that your site is giving you problems. ๐ Please start a new topic so that we can help you troubleshoot. This thread is primarily for the purpose of helping highasp, although, of course, we welcome others to follow along in case they are having the same issue.
Thanks for all the feedback,ย enhanceindustries23. If you wouldn’t mind creating separate threads for each issue, we’d be most grateful. ย ๐ Also if there are any features that you’re hoping to see added to the plugins, please vote for them in our UserVoice forum.
As far as the upcoming release is concerned, we can’t commit to specific dates, but we do aim for a monthly release cycle. We’re anticipating it should be well in advance of the issue with events in shorter months disappearing rearing its head again. ๐

ParticipantThat’s great to hear, snorton! ๐ Thanks so much for letting us know!

ParticipantHi, again, studioseptember! ๐ I wanted to quickly followup here since it’s been several weeks.
First of all, thank you for bringing this to our attention! ย ๐ We’re definitely treating this as a bug, and we’re looking to incorporate a fix into the plugin as soon as we can.
We always strive to update threads concerning bug reports post-release, so if you continue to monitor this thread, you will be alerted once the solution is in place.
Thanks again for being part of the TEC community! ๐

ParticipantGlad to hear it,ย nathanbaldwin. ๐ Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help!

ParticipantHi, Nathaniel. Great question! ๐
This is the first I’ve heard of such an issue after upgrade. Would you mind sharing the Eventbrite ID with me so that I can try it out?
Also, it might be worth checking that your Eventbrite User API key is still in place in your WP User Profile.
Thanks! ๐

ParticipantHi, walkingfish! I see that we’ve already addressed this issue in another thread. I’ll be closing this one to prevent confusion. ๐
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, highasp. Thank you for your kind note. We really do strive to help wherever we can.
One question for you in the interim, does the behavior change if you switch to a default WP theme like Twenty Twelve with all other plugins deactivated? I ask because we’re having trouble replicating your issue on our test bed.
Thanks for your help! ๐
