November 9, 2016 at 11:27 am in reply to: Import from another The Events Calendar iCal Feed #1189852Stephanie
ParticipantHi,
I found this thread:
I How do I create an ICS feed from one Event Pro Calendar and install on each a
“2- Install The Events Calendar in the main site and subsites. Also install iCal Importer in the subsites to create recurring imports from the main site. In this case the content will be shown in each subsite calendar, and not work as a list of links as the solution described in #1.”
^ Won’t this accomplish what I am asking?Stephanie
ParticipantOk, So I believe the Event Aggregator will work for what I am trying to do, its just not automated.
Please confirm that my think it correct in implementing this into my current structure.
1. Export iCal for category in Main events calendar
2. Go to sister website events calendar and navigate to Events > Import
3. With Events Aggregator installed I can import my Category specific iCal file into sister calendar.Of course I need to throw my hat in the ring for wanting the automation. FYI looks like All-in-one Event Calendar has this feature.

ParticipantHow do I do an iCal export of my events calendar by category?
Stephanie
ParticipantLet me ask this a simpler way.
How would I automatically or manually import events from my main calendar into a another calendar on a different site?

ParticipantFixed! Thank you 🙂

ParticipantI now see what the problem is, we recently switched the site from .org to .com last month!! How do I change the License in my account from .org to .com? I attempted to do so by disconnecting the license for The Events Calendar PRO but now I can assign it, it just say ‘1’.
Please advise me how to proceed.
Stephanie
ParticipantOk, I made that change and it solved that problem but created a new one. I selected the Events default template because it was full screen with out a sidebar. Can I upload my own page theme to be selected in this section?
Stephanie
ParticipantOk, thank you for that.
I am trying to determine if there is a work around I could utilize.
Currently the fee is set at 40%, work around ideas for those that have a 20% fee.
1st workaround idea:
– a 20% coupon code only to be used on the event processed at WooCommerce Checkout. Is this possible? How does the WooCommerce checkout work? Would the 20% be taken off the our 40% fee or would it be taken off the entire amount and the 40% would be applied to the discounted coupon code rate?2nd workaround idea:
– We use AffiliateWP, I could create an affiliate link with their community event and set the affiliate rate to 20% and that way Community Events will take 40% but they will get 20% back when the Affiliate payout is run.Thank you for your help.

ParticipantI finally did receive a email, took about 15 minutes. Is that normal?
Also, the link on the email takes me to a page to edit the image, not to edit the event submission. See screen shot:
