ParticipantGeoff,
After I updated all the add-ons and then updated The Events Calendar to 3.11.1, then everything was back up and running.
Live and learn! Thank you for your help!

ParticipantI manually updated the plugins and after I updated The Events Calendar to 3.11.1, everything is back up and running.
It doesn’t answer of why I couldn’t see the updates in the Dashboard though…
Thank you,

ParticipantNico,
I forced a check for updates and no luck.
If I do update them manually, don’t I have to delete them and reinstall (so I’ll loose my settings)? Or if I try to upload the new version will it just ask me to replace what’s there?
Thank you,
Dawnactiveyouth
ParticipantThank you! Much appreciated!
I thought I was missing something because when I looked through the documentation there was even a function called tribe_community_events_logout_url, so I thought it was a setting somewhere.
Thank you for pointing me back in the right direction!

ParticipantAfter looking again, The Events Calendar is updated to 3.11, but I don’t have prompts to update any of the other plugins in my Dashboard. That’s actually a separate question I have because even though I have all the license keys entered, updates for the three additional plugins aren’t showing up.
Here is the URL for that support question: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/updates-not-showing-in-dashboard/
Thank you,

ParticipantAdditional information: The organizers are active under Events>Organizers, but when I go to view the Organizer pages, they are blank. The pages worked previously.

Did something change? I haven’t upgraded to 3.11 yet. Presenting to client today, so your help is appreciated!
Thank you,

ParticipantIt’s the additional fields that you can set up as a feature of events calendar pro.
You set them up by going to Events> settings>Additional Fields.
After these fields are set up and then selected when setting up an event, I want to be able to filter on them through the filter bar.

ParticipantGeorge,
I did the troubleshooting with no luck, HOWEVER I did find that clicking on “Remember me” in the login area skipped the WordPress-type login screen not the first time a user logged in, but in subsequent logins.
Here’s the kicker though — the “Remember Me” doesn’t work as intended by saving the users login information, so they still do have to log in to the Community Events login page when going to the page to add events, but they still skip the second login page, so that’s good!
I agree that it’s something on our side with our network, so I will mark this as resolved.
Thank you for your help!

ParticipantI unchecked everything in Access Control, saved and still had the problem.
I will work through the troubleshooting and let you know what I find.
Wondering…could it be an issue that I didn’t set up a Captcha on the community events login, but there is one on the WordPress login page? I will try that angle too.
Here are the versions of the plugins I’m running:
The Events Calendar: 3.10.1
The Events Calendar Pro: 3.10.1
The Events Calendar: FilterBar 3.10.1
The Events Calendar – Community Events 3.10Thank you!

ParticipantHi George!
I just found a previous thread on this issue:
Unable to publish event by reviewing and submitting through email notification.
There is a code snippet included to accomplish what I’m looking for and it says a bug report has been submitted, so it’s okay if you close this ticket.
Thank you!

ParticipantHello Again, George! 🙂
Here are my answers on this thread:
1. The box is unchecked.
2. No, we don’t have any other membership-related plugins on the site.
3. The first login page I see is what I understand to be the default login page for Community Events (http://iepcheer.newsites.activeyouthnetwork.com/events/community/add). This page is styled like the rest of the Events Calendar pages on the website (same background image (white with ghosted star images), coloring, etc). I enter the login credentials and then it goes to http://iepcheer.newsites.activeyouthnetwork.com/wp-login.php which is the WordPress admin login page with the WordPress logo on just a plain white page where it again asks for login credentials.
Additional information: I was redirected to the WordPress login page from the Events Calendar login page whether I submitted a legitimate user ID and password or an invalid one. Is there a piece missing where the two login areas are not talking to each other?
Thank you so much for your help!

ParticipantGeorge,
Thank you for your help! As an FYI — I’m running Divi 2.3.2 as my theme. I am going to test upgrading to Divi 4 this week and then push to production if all goes well. Hopefully that may address some of these issues.
Here are my answers:
1. I am referring to the email address I set up to receive notifications when a new event is submitted so the event can be reviewed and then published. This email address is technically different from the email address for the admin of the website itself, but they all come to me.2. I am logged in as the admin user, but the submitting user.
3. No, that isn’t quite it… It’s confusing that, from the “Review Event” button on the notification email, the admin user is directed to a screen where they can edit and submit the event rather than approving the event. Perhaps there is something I can edit in the email template that will change that “Review Event” link to go to the list of draft events rather than the event submission page.

ParticipantHello! I read through the documentation before I started and specifically didn’t network activate the plugins. I have a screenshot from the network admin area showing that the plugins aren’t network activated. Is there a way I can get that to you?
Another thing I noticed is on the license keys page, the filter bar license complains, but seems to save and work (you can also see it in the settings information I sent with the support ticket). The Pro license won’t ever save.
On a side note, I need to make changes to our account and the level of license we bought. Can you help me with that?
Thank you,
