ParticipantHi, We purchased Events Calendar for one website, and Events Calendar Pro for a second site. The one with Events Calendar is working perfectly, but the Events Calendar Pro seems to be very buggy. I’m sure its on our side and something we didn’t do right when we installed it. What information do you need so you can help us?

ModeratorHi and welcome back π
The first step here is to update all of our plugins to the latest versions, then review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know if the issues persist.
If the issues do persist with your site in the state explained in the Testing for conflicts guide, please include a specific list of the issues you’re experiencing, including exact step-by-step instructions how to reproduce them.
Please include your System Information as a private reply.
Lastly, I notice in your System Information you have the Facebook Events plugin installed on your site. If you’re not aware, we are in the process of retiring the Facebook Events plugin and replacing it with our newest plugin, Event Aggregator.
You have been granted a license for Event Aggregator and it is set to expire on the same date your Facebook Events license expires. For information, please review our Moving to Event Aggregator Knowledgebase article and if you run into any issues along the way, please create a separate thread.
Have a great evening. Cheers!

ParticipantHi, One of my guys think we may have purchased the wrong version of Events Calendar, and that’s why we’re having issues. Can you check our account and tell me if we need to buy a different version?

ModeratorWelcome back π
I’m unsure on which features you need, so if you visit our Products page you can view the entire list of plugins we offer. If you do need a different plugin after all, please visit our Refunds page and we’d be happy to process that for you as long as it’s within 30 days of your purchase.
You can download previous versions of our plugins on the Downloads page. Please let me know if this helps and have a good afternoon π

ParticipantThis is what our client just sent us:
I logged in to make sure the recurring events feature is working and I still canβt see it. I did see an error message noting that weβre using Events Calendar Pro, but that the license keys we supplied are invalid. This came up when I hit βcreate new event.β

ModeratorThank you for the update,
If you review our New User Primer: The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, we walk you through the process of installing and setting up the plugin.
Please review our Finding and Inputting Your License Key tutorial to ensure you’re entering your license key properly.
Other helpful articles include WP Admin Settings Overview which explains each feature included in the plugins and PRO Recurring Events which goes over the process of adding and managing recurring events.
If you run into any issues once you get everything set up properly, review the Testing for conflicts guide once again. Please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the βInspectβ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.
Thanks and please keep me updated with the status of your situation. Have a great weekend ahead!

ParticipantWe have followed all of the steps in your forum post. Our license keys do not expire until June or December, but our client is getting a License Expired message. Can you help us with that, please?

ModeratorHello,
Happy Superbowl Sunday π
Did any errors display after setting WP_DEBUG to true and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool? You mentioned you purchased The Events Calendar for one site and Events Calendar PRO for another site. The Events Calendar is free, so can you please clarify more on that statement you made?
Do you have The Events Calendar (free version) installed and activated on both sites? If not, please make sure you do as The Events Calendar is required to run Events Calendar PRO.
Can you send the System Information for the site you’re attempting to use PRO on as a private reply? Lastly, can you please confirm you’ve reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide to rule out the potential for a theme and/or plugin conflict? I’ll need a solid yes or no to this answer before we can proceed.
Thanks for your patience while we continue investigating and have a great remainder of your weekend!

ParticipantHi, How do I send you a pm? Events Calendar crashed the website yesterday and I can send you the log files showing the error, but I don’t want to post them on a public forum.

ModeratorHello π
When responding, you should have the option to mark the reply as private. It’s recommended doing so when sharing sensitive information such as screenshots of active license keys. I went ahead and marked that response as private.
Are you attempting to use a Personal license on multiple sites? Are you running the latest versions of our plugins? Please share with your tech our System Information tutorial as it goes over the process of locating and sharing the information.
I checked our logged bug reports to make sure I’m not missing anything obvious and it doesn’t appear to be a widespread problem at this time. I’m also unable to reproduce the behavior on my test site.
Let me know and we’ll continue investigating. Cheers!

ModeratorI apologize if I may have been slightly confused. I believe you have two sites, both requiring PRO. If this is the case, please visit the PRO product page and if it makes sense to upgrade to a Business license, please visit Upgrading a license for more information.
If you simply need to purchase another personal license for PRO, go ahead and go through that process, then enter your newly purchased PRO license key into the other site you’re needing it on. Please let me know if I’ve cleared up the confusion and keep me updated. Cheers π

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
