Chiming in on the recurring event link/redirect bug. We’re experiencing this on our website, regardless of whether we’re logeed into WordPress. I’ve disabled other plugins, reset permalinks, cleared browser cache, etc.
URL for first occurrence of the event:
https://www.sage.edu/event/freihofers-run-women-health-fitness-expo/2017-06-01/
Redirects here:
https://www.sage.edu/event/freihofers-run-women-health-fitness-expo/all/
^^ And that list is incorrect. It’s showing ALL upcoming events, not just the ones in the series.

Reporting the same issue as: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/the-first-event-of-a-range-of-recurring-events-always-redirects-to-all/May 30, 2017 at 2:32 pm #1291026CliffMemberHi. I visited both links and the /2017-06-01 link did NOT redirect to the /all link for me. I suggest you clear your browser cache for that issue.
As for the /all link showing other events, I did see that. Since this isn’t a known issue, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/redirect-issue-with-recurring-event-permalinks/
May 31, 2017 at 4:00 pm #1291505CliffMemberThe first wasn’t confirmed by the user, closed after inactivity.
The second was the same (although in Private Replies).
The third said, “We have seen that issue on occasion, but very rarely and we couldn’t find a specific reason why this is happening. What we can do is to start troubleshooting,” and we haven’t heard back from that use yet, either.
The fourth (the one I handled) was the same after checking their rewrite rules and not seeing anything obvious there.
In summary, multiple staff have attempted to replicate the issue and haven’t been able to. We have asked users to follow our Testing for Conflicts steps and haven’t heard back from them yet.
Please keep things constructive in this and future threads. I look forward to hearing back from your (and others’) testing results.
If we figure out there’s a conflict with a particular plugin or combination of settings, we can do our best to avoid it in the future or correct a bug.

This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
