Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus 4.11.0.1

Hey folks! Today’s update fixes errors mostly on larger sites caused by extra queries running on pages. Also, Event Tickets would only update properly if Event Tickets Plus was updated first. We’ve reversed that and updates will run properly again.

In most cases, you will be able to take advantage of automated updates directly in WordPress, but if that’s unavailable for some reason, you can download the plugins from the downloads page in your account, then update manually.

The changes are short and simple this time:

Event Tickets 4.11.0.1

  • Fix – Users reported high CPU usage causing sites to not respond. We now avoid running extra queries when registering assets.
  • Fix – Event Tickets would only update properly if Event Tickets Plus was updated first. That was backwards. We protected Tribe__Tickets__Tickets::get_tickets() to avoid errors with it not being public before upgrading Event Tickets Plus. Updates run properly again.

Event Tickets Plus 4.11.0.1

  • Fix – Our admin notice describing the Attendee Registration feature was creating performance issues. To clean that up, we are preventing Composer Autoloader from taking too much time loading files and have stopped autoloading a class unnecessarily on each page load.
  • Fix – Fatal errors are never desirable. We’ve corrected a bad self reference in Tribe__Tickets_Plus__Commerce__WooCommerce__Meta.
