    Geoff,

I found the issue, there is an incompatibility issue with WooCommerce Version 2.3.8. As soon as I upgraded to 2.5.1, it solved the issue.

Could you please provide a fix for version 2.3.8 as we do not want to upgrade to 2.5.1 for the time being (because as discussed, this broke our frontend).

    Cheers,

    Ben

    Geoff,

I confirm that the stock count in your plugin is broken. I just set up a brand new website with WordPress Template 15 locally, Event Calendar, Event Tickets and Event Tickets plus and I have the exact same issue

    Hi Geoff,

    Thank you for your email.

Could you kindly list which plugins you installed on the bare WordPress theme?

    Kind regards,

    Ben

    Hi Geoff,

    Thank you for your reply.

What you are asking is kind of out of the question. I simply cannot change the template to the default Twenty-Fifteen WordPress and disable plug-ins – we have a number of live events and any downtime is unacceptable. Please note that we have The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, Community Events and Community Events Tickets. The custom template has always worked perfectly and we do not have issues with any other plugins/features. I also do not see how the template should affect the stock calculation; it’s easy to see that the calculation in the backend is simply done wrong.

Re the test event, it is online again and you can still claim tickets even though it is free – please try again: http://shop.trackagescheme.com/event/test-event/

Regarding upgrading WooCommerce, we would like to delay this because we tried this last week and the upgrade broke the entire layout forcing us to revert to a back up. If however, you can guarantee that this will fix the stock/inventory issue, we will schedule it.

Moreover, please note that your colleague, Josh, confirmed that this is a documented bug and you are working on a fix, so I am confused at this point. Please refer to his message here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/issues-with-stock-count-after-4-04-update/#post-1061796 for more information.

    Please advise.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Brian,

Please ignore this – I managed to fixed this by editing role permissions.

    Geoff,

I created events/tickets after upgrading to 4.0.5 but the issue persists (I just created an event now to test). You can test this out yourself at http://shop.trackagescheme.com/event/test-event/

There are no conflicts, the functionality is simply broken – the calculation is incorrect in the code.

    Kind regards,

    Ben

I don’t know if this helps but using this Event Organizer account, I am also unable to add a ticket image. I get this error:

“test1.jpg An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

    Hi,

The stock quantities are not functioning correctly. Whenever a ticket is purchased, stock quantity is reduced by 2 items instead of 1. Moreover, the original total stock quantity is also affected.

    So for example:

If my original stock is 200 tickets and I purchase 1 ticket, the stock changes to ‘198 out of 199 available’ – the minus 2 deduction is incorrect and the ‘out of 199 available’ is misleading.

I am running the following plugin versions: Event Tickets Plus Version 4.0.4 Events Calendar Version 4.0.5

    Please advise.

    Kind regards,

    Ben

    Hi Josh,

Could you please clarify what you mean by ” Once this issue is addressed, it should resolve the issue of a QR code getting scanned once and hitting someone that has already been manually checked in.”

Also, could you please clarify what you mean by checked in manually. Does this mean clicking the check in button? As we will be looking to check people in by scanning them using a barcode reader.

    Cheers,

    Ben
