ParticipantHi – id like to confirm i am also having this issue – it caused us considerable problems with orders completing and tickets being sent, but then being failed by AVS activated through Paypal Pro.
I have rolled back now and have not tried just using auto complete order yet, but would really like to know when this fix is being released as it caused me a whole day of development to sort out what the issue was and roll back a few days ago.
pretty surprised something so fundamental got out there to be honest, but i guess these things happen…

ParticipantI understand that seeing the refunded tickets is of little value to you. However, there are users who like to see all there orders for a specific event, the completed ones, pending ones and even the refunded ones. Because for them that makes more sense. To be clear, the is the page of the Orders and <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>not</span> of the total sales. I’m sorry if you were made to believe so.
– yes but, the sales figure shows refunded tickets. Can you please tell me a scenario where you would want to show a final sales total that also includes refunded (and therefore, not “sold”) tickets? Because I simply cannot think of one.
I will need to give this a check. Please give me some time to do that. I will get back to you on this specific one early next week.
– ok, waiting on this one…
the refunded tickets would still show up in the total
would not be shown in the completed / paid
would get a separate line saying Refunded– yes, i dont see how the above doesnt make way more sense than at the moment. A refunded ticket sale is simply not a sale. You can call it a type of sale until the cows come home, but lets be honest, no one in the real world would call a refund a sale. Apart from maybe the logic of a database system that required it to be that way.
thanks guys

ParticipantOk so let me get this straight…
6 months ago, this feature was very much coming soon. Now, 6 months on, not only is it not coming soon, but what I asked for in the original post was never what was going to be implemented anyway…and not only that if I do now want anything like it implementing – I have to raise it in the feature request section.
So I wait 6 months to find out that, and you expect to pass it off as “sorry if its not good news”.
Dear lord, i’ve said it in other support threads, it’s a shame you are not as good at development as you are diplomacy in your own support forums.
Thank you very much for absolutely not helping me in any way whatsoever. Please don’t reply with a meaningless apology, simply close the thread down and you have all done your job.
High five! x

ParticipantI know why its necessary.
I totally agree with it. Thats why i followed it TO THE LETTER, before i posted this ticket – and made sure you know that, and you didn’t have to ask me to do it again. Yet, you still did.
Its of no consequence now – weve decided to just leave the imported events that done have venues without venus as there are only 20 or so events.
So i will gladly allow this ticket to be closed – thanks.

ParticipantAnd by the way – the issue IS NOT WITH THE IMPORT.
Its with adding Venues and Organizers to IMPORTED ITEMS. i thought i made that clear, yet you send me to the import guide. Its so disappointing.
Anyway, like i said, i can see you are going to be as much use as a chocolate kettle here, so i’ll just make do with it.

ParticipantSo after the ENTIRE post saying please dont send me back to the testing for conflicts guide…that is what you did. For all the brilliance of what you do, you guys dont half suck sometimes.
Its fine. Ill just have to leave the imported events without venues or organizers. When i have explicitely told you that I followed the testing for conflicts guide, it should be YOU setting up a test site and importing and checking to see if this is an issue, not me.
Appalling.
Goodbye.

ParticipantThats ok – no problem, for now I will update the original file and keep a backup. I guess its a simple enough fox and will appear in a point release in the future.
All good

Participanthaha – of course I have the theme in there as well. I left it out as i thought it too obvious to include in this post. I have themed half of the files in the plugins without issue, i understand the process – it just does not seem to pickup with this one.
Thats not the issue. And i referenced your themers guide, it says nothing about the path for this file. Nor does it have it in the file itself like it does in most of your themeable event calendar files.
So – I ask you again, can you please provide me with the path…
thanks

ParticipantThanks for this – its not only the name of the venue its also the location of the venue I would like to search from this field (not the traditional location field). I assume that would be easy when you are setup to search venue name as well as its just further meta data attached to venue…

ParticipantOh id just like to add – the tribe filter bar i already own and it does NOT achieve what i am looking for here. I want the full set of results i require to com from the initial search. Its almost like the wp query needs to search more than just event title and content…
thanks for any help!

ParticipantHey Geoff
thanks – yes, de-activating the filter bar does solve the problem. I didnt de-activate that as its part if your plugin suite – so…what to do about it do you think? I guess I wont actually be using cost so i could disable that part of the filter bar maybe?
In fact – ive done that now, and it still works – so, ill settle with that solution. Obviously you might want to investigate that on a build of your own to check if that could be broken for anyone else who does use price.
Thanks for the assistance 🙂

ParticipantOk Geoff
WHilst i am very happy that someone is back helping me with the site, im a little disappointed you didn’t read the last ticket. As I mention in my first post:
“Just so you know – Im getting no conflicts with anything else here…have disabled plugins and theme etc, and nothing in the console log. Hay to provide logins etc to backend if needed. im a pro user of the plugin have been for many years and never seen this before – but its a new site.”
I have disabled everything, including the plugin you suggest, and also I have changed theme back to 2014, as you suggest, already.
As the guy who answered me in the last thread who read the post noted:
“Taking into account that you’ve reverted back to the default WP theme and deactivated all plugins as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide, would you please share your System Information as a private reply?”
Which is why I posted the system info in this thread.
So, can we now proceed as required?
Thanks

ParticipantJust as an aside – i have ust created a new event to check it wasnt events created with older version plugins:
http://www.3btickets.com/event/reminisce-festival-test/
this is also not searchable from keyword “reminisce” which is both in the event nae organiser, URL slug, and title of event (and many times in the body text of the event. This happens with both themes and plugins active and de-activated.
please can you advise?
