Tribe bar to search

Hi,
I am using the tribe search bar and at the moment it seems to search through free text that is entered into the event description, and the event title. Ive disabled the location search part as I dont really like how that works, id rather just have one search box that searches everything – thats venue, location, title etc. I appreciate date needs to be separate that is fine.

My question is, is it possible that the search box also searches venue and location information attached to an event – so if i typed in the name of a venue into this search box it would come back. If i typed in the name of the city the venue is in it would come back, etc – as long as that information has been entered correctly of course…

At the moment it only brings results back if you have entered both venue and location into the free text for the event…

All help appreciated. i can provide a link to illustrate what i mean if necessary.

Oh id just like to add – the tribe filter bar i already own and it does NOT achieve what i am looking for here. I want the full set of results i require to com from the initial search. Its almost like the wp query needs to search more than just event title and content…

We do have a feature report logged which aims to address the lack of search ability for venue names when using the “Search” field. Thanks for this – its not only the name of the venue its also the location of the venue I would like to search from this field (not the traditional location field). I assume that would be easy when you are setup to search venue name as well as its just further meta data attached to venue…
