ParticipantThanks @karen that helps a lot. I’ve been looking in the wrong places for the tribe-events-full.css file. I wish there was a directory in the “guide” that showed us the paths for these files they refer to. Tribe is familiar with their files so they know where they are but the rest of us have to do a lot of searching to find them. I feel like I’m on a scavenger hunt.

ParticipantBoth those fixes seems to have worked. After I cleared cache, the http://tools.seobook.com/server-header-checker/ test didn’t show any errors.

ParticipantHello,
I just checked my Webmaster Tools report. From July 8-14, I was also getting 1000s of 404s reported for dates when there are no events scheduled. Even into the future such as March 20, 2014. There are no reports for July 15 or today (July 16) yet. I am currently running 3.0.3. Perhaps Google Webmaster Tools hasn’t run a report for yesterday yet.Cynthia Lockley
ParticipantCharles,
If you go to your list of All Pages in the WP admin pages and run your mouse over the Edit link for each page, you’ll see an ID number for each page called post=nnn. That might help you find which page is post=119 that the CSS was trying to hide a title on.Cynthia Lockley
ParticipantHi Neil,
The 3.0.3 update took care of the missing events in the calendar so that part is working OK now. You helped me fix the huge title in the widget but the event for today is over so now it doesn’t show and I’ll have to wait for a new event to see how my additional styling looks.Yes, the original issue is still an issue–double posting on the event post page: http://events.stcwdc.org/event/stc-wdcb-summer-vision-day-meeting/. I don’t know what templates or styles control this page. It is trying to include the right sidebar but it is pushing it below the posts. Screen capture is at http://events.stcwdc.org/wp-content/uploads/double_posting_of_event.png

ParticipantYes. Thanks that helped. I set it to 1.1em and will have to add a line height and a bottom margin for it. But it is now at a normal widget size header.

ParticipantSo, the question is, how do I override the widget that is trying to use the style from the main content of the theme.
Cynthia Lockley
ParticipantThat class is in the parent Twenty Eleven theme as provided by WP. I have not restyled it in my child theme. If I did, it would affect the entire theme, which is not what I want to do. I just need to be able to adjust the header in the widget for the Upcoming Events. So are you saying the Events Calendar widgets are pulling style for the main body of the theme for the sidebar widgets? If it doesn’t have its own style class, it should at least pull the style for the theme’s widget headers. Widget titles for the Twenty Eleven theme are set to 10px on line 1781.

ParticipantHas anyone figured out yet how to get the event title to a normal size in the Upcoming Events widget? I can’t figure out what CSS class needs to be changed just for this and won’t affect everything else.

ParticipantThanks Leah. My events are back in my calendar. Now on to trying to fix my other problems.

ParticipantYour directions for getting the 3.0.1 version worked great. Thank you!
I really hope they fix this problem soon or at least let us know they are looking at it.Cynthia Lockley
Participant`Maybe releasing an update just before the weekend with no weekend support is not such a good idea?`

ParticipantWow–that is not encouraging. Lots of changes happened. I looked at the CSS to try to figure out what I needed to try to work on for my restyle need and saw the all-in-one-line code and got very discouraged. I looked at all 18 CSS files and they are all formatted to be on one line.

ParticipantI just discovered that not only did the event disappear from the calendar, the post page is gone! A copy of the post is included in the regular posts but with no date or author.
