Hi Geoff, I have a doubt… right now, except for this tiny problem with the translation of that word ALL, the rest of my translations work perfectly. Now, in the PO/MO uploaded I dont have that in line 1389 in spite of my downloading and editing the latest PO/MO within my plugin. So, I guess the question I want to ask you is if I upload the ones you sent to me, I will obviously lose my translations and will need to start on that all over again. Furthermore, when there is a new upgrade to the PO/MOs, again the translations will change lines? Why is it not possible to keep always the sequence and keep adding at the end while leaving what is unnecessary there if, in the end, coding wont ask for it anyway so it shouldnt affect anything, right?

I just need to decide what is best in terms of effort here. For one word, have to translate it all again and then again in the future? or… could you please guide me on how to eliminate such option for good and make the first part of a list view only begin with a next events as a connector?

Right after the website button begins the address and phone number and I would like to add the words Address and Phone number before each one and to also have each (address and phone number) to be on its own line and not altogether.

Hi Geoff, I again checked both PO, and ensured I had them all translated. And I did. Uploaded again and still no solution. Is there something I am missing? it seems that this particular one for the List view is embedded elsewhere because in the rest of the views the translation works fine. Help?

Hi Cliff, check the following images:

Buttons01: BLISS… THANK YOU!!!
Buttons02: ALMOST BLISS… how do I make the word “Teléfono:” to get displayed before the phone number and “Dirección” which stands for address before the address? (interestingly enough, for the organizer, it does it!
Buttons03: Functional but not a bliss… yet!!! Looks jammed! How do I make it look like Buttons02, including the phone label feature asked for image Buttons02? And also the words “Correo electrónico:” which stands for email in Spanish before the email?

I also noticed that for the organizer there is no google map option… that´s ok but it would have been nice.

Hi George, thank you for your response. I will search for such plugins. In the meantime, and since you offered to help with any other need, I have translated both PO/MOs so my calendar is in Spanish and works well except for one translation that I dont know where is coming from since I have searched and replaced the word “All” everywhere and still I get it on the list view as per the image attached. Could you please tell me where should I go looking for that one? Notice that is half translated… All is in English and Eventos is in Spanish.

Hi Cliff,
Thank you, that did it and I was able to replace the text for the button. Now, where and how do I remove the “Website” remaining headings?

Following the initial tutorial (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/url-as-word-button/), I was able to do that for the main page website label following these instructions:

Make a copy of the details.php file. It is located in /plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta/details.php.
Make a new folder in your theme directory called tribe-events
Make a new folder in that one called modules
Make a new folder in that one called meta
Drop the copied details.php file in that last folder
Now that the template is in the theme, it can be customized to suit your needs. In this case, remove the following line from the template (at time of this writing, it’s in line 148):

<dt> <?php esc_html_e( ‘Website:’, ‘the-events-calendar’ ) ?> </dt>

Could you please tell me the filename and lines I need to remove to do the same for both organizer and venue?

I dont want to mess it up 😉

Hi Geoff, I think I was finally able to get around this and find a solution that allows me to have my slider and within it a link to all the calendars I wanted displayed. Of course, this is not as cool as having the calendar with a shortcode but since its not working well anyway by not displaying the quick views, is as good as it gets for now.

Thank you for all your help and I look forward to be able to use the shortcode solution once its finally improved by your team.

Hi Hunter, the results are as follows:

At title level: “1 de enero de 2017 a las 12:00 am”
At Details level:
Hora:
12:00 am

Now, as you have noticed, my site is in Spanish, so what I really need is:
At title level: “1 de enero de 2017” –> only the date without anything else as happens when I click the all event toggle button
At Details level:
Hora:
Todo el día

“Todo el día” is the translation for “All day” I need this in writing because it makes no sense to me to have to put 12:00 am (an odd time) for all those events that are a commemoration. It would if these events were like training when you refer to lets say 9 to 5 which is understood as an all day event but in my case Im talking about New Year, Christmas, Valentine´s, etc.

I thought that by asking you to get a written all day event I could later go to the PO / MO file and translate it myself but seems now that I better explain a bit better the need.
