ParticipantBump. Any insight from your perspective after looking at the log files? We’re trying to troubleshoot on our end, but aren’t finding anything that is the culprit. Any thoughts you could provide would help.
Thanks!

ParticipantWe’ve run some additional tests. We removed all instances of any non-CSS updates we made to the calendar and the “Once” style recurring events still cause a 500 error.
- We know it works properly on the Twenty Seventeen theme with all of the current plugins activated.
- It does not work with our custom theme, but has for years.
- We disabled all of the non-css updates we made to the calendar (we’ve updated some template files with minor overrides for the purposes of layout tweaks). The “Once” event style fail when we remove these overrides.
Do you have any additional thoughts? Do you have any insight into which value is being incorrectly submitted? That may help us troubleshoot on our end.
Thank you.

ParticipantJust came here looking for support on this same issue. We updated to the latest version of ECP in a test environment and the calendar works fine, however some events are coming up as “Not Found” when clicking into them:
http://new.castledangerbrewery.com/event/food-truck-friday/2017-09-22/However, this same event is working on an older version of ECP in the live environment:
http://www.castledangerbrewery.com/event/food-truck-friday/2017-09-22/All other plugins and versions of WordPress are the same between the two builds and the plugin is properly licensed on both.
Any help would great!

ParticipantFlushing the permalinks had no effect. Changing the theme to the default *did* work. Why would that be the case? Where can I look to work around this?
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for the info – I have things working for the most part and am afraid to break anything. Once I get past a few other issues I’ll give it a try.
Thanks again.

ParticipantOnce I used the event templates instead of the theme template all of the problems went away. It appears that the problem occurs with the use of wp_list_pages within the template, though I have not had time to try and pinpoint why.

ParticipantHi Jonah,
Thanks for your thorough replies. I switched to the default template and it seems to have fixed all of the issues I was having. I’m going to try what you suggested in #1 to style the default template to match the site better and see what happens.http://www.bravenewmonkey.com/home/events/
Thanks again!

ParticipantHi Rob, yes I updated to 2.0.8 and this still happens.
David Maloney
ParticipantYes, here is the test version of the site in a staging area (theme is not a test):
http://www.bravenewmonkey.com/home/events/
If you switch to December or later, there are no events, hidden or otherwise and the navigation at the top gets messed up.
If you switch to event list, nothing gets displayed.
If you click on one of the events, the wrong date displays.
If I add a new event, the entire calendar fails to render, but I didn’t add one at this point, since I wanted you to see the other items.
Thanks!

ParticipantI tried your idea of renaming the .previous and .next classes, but this did not fix the issue in my case (previously reported here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/no-events-for-the-month-misaligns-my-header/).
I am using 2.0.8 and also have this issue. Apparently, my theme is in conflict with your plugin in numerous ways.
1. The aforementioned navigation issue
2. New events added since upgrading to 2.0.8 from 2.0.7 cause the calendar to fail to render at all.
3. Clicking on dates of events added prior to upgrade show the current date instead of the actual date for the event. All of these problems go away if I switch to one of the default themes like twenty eleven, but this is not an option. Is this issue simply due to style collisions from naming?
I really like this calendar plugin, it looks great when it works and installs easy, and is easy to configure. Switching themes is not an option, nor is waiting on the original theme developer to look for a workaround to which they will likely not accept fault for.
Any suggestions?
