ParticipantSame issue here. I disabled all plugins and the one that causes the Widgets Area to disappear is the Event Calendar PRO plugin. We have 7,120 events. Are we pushing the envelop with this plugin with that many events? Is there a way to maybe replicate this issue with your support folks to determine exactly what’s happening so the onus to figure out how to apply snippets and reimport all events, etc is not on the customer?
Thank you

ParticipantWe’re having a similar issue. Here’s the email I got from my assistant who updates our calendar,
“I was updating the web calendar and I noticed that I was having a few issues with some of the recurring events.
• Alpine Start <M-F 10-11am>
• On Feb 4, I’ve got a double posting that continues perpetually
• On April 10, I’ve got a triple posting that continues perpetually
• Lincoln Adult Technique: In the admin side this starts getting repeated on March 11 as an event that is reoccurring for 1 week. It isn’t shown on the front end, but it just continues to reoccur perpetually. I can fix these issues by simply deleting these events, but I thought I’d let you know as I have not touched these events since I created them and they were fine earlier this week when I checked the calendar.”February 27, 2014 at 11:27 am in reply to: The following plugins are out of date error message #110274rockspotclimbing
ParticipantYes, identical key. I’m using Chrome. No idea why we couldn’t simply do that but it’s exactly what we were trying without success. Thanks for making it stick 😉

ParticipantHi Barry, not sure how the private comment things worked, but I can’t see it (I’m logged in) and haven’t received an email? Please advise.

ParticipantHi Barry, I see the offer to check out the WP admin for other users and wonder why that’s not being responded to in my posts? We paid for the PRO plugin and want PRO support 😉

ParticipantWe are still in development and using the development subdomain, which is also what shows in the license management page. So no, that isn’t the issue we’re still experiencing. I’d be happy to share the admin login with you per my private message earlier in the thread.

ParticipantHi Barry,
Yes, the recommended troubleshooting steps refers to 2011 theme. I did try 2014 theme, no plugins and can not…
a> Get the license key to ‘stick’
b> access the updates (probably because the license key won’t stick)Super frustrating to not be able to apply the license, run the updates and clear error messages like “The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.3. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Want to pair an older version?”
I know and I want to be on the latest version of the plugin(s) but can not make it happen.

ParticipantWe’re getting this too “The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.3. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Want to pair an older version?”
Are we supposed to click the link “Want to pair an older version?” or take some other action (and specifically what action)?
