MemberHey Roberto – we’ve actually just been talking about finding helpful folks on the forum who might be interested in freelancing a bit. If you shoot me an email with the language translation files (as we mentioned in a separate thread), mention that you’re interested in this and I’ll talk it over with the team. Thanks man!
Rob
MemberHa! I just requested this in the other translation-related thread, before I saw this one. We’d love to use your files. If you want to send them to rob at tri.be, I can make sure they’re included for the next release.

MemberThanks Roberto. If you’d be interested in updating the Italian translation files so they’re more accurate, we’d love to have you along for the journey 🙂
Rob
MemberI echo Adam’s sentiments – thanks for your help on this (and the other threads), Roberto!
Rob
MemberAnother one that I’m pretty sure you got a response on based on today’s email exchange, but let me know if not. Thanks Adam!
Rob
MemberNo question mark was intended to be included in that link, FYI…

MemberWhat was the code you used to comment it out, Steven? Can you drop that into http://pastie.org/? I can take a look from there…

MemberI actually can tell with categories, you can find it by going to the backend of your site, clicking into a given category name from Event Categories, and viewing the number that appears in the URL bar. That what you’re looking for?
Let me find out for venues. I see those create a page, not a category, so not sure how that’d be handled.

MemberHi Vince, thanks for the note. This is a good question – it hasn’t ever come up yet, but my suspicion is no. Let me check with the developer who built this though, in case he has any suggestions. Give me a day or two to get you a response on this.

MemberHey Andrew. You should backup first, but it’s generally fine to delete the 1.2 build after you’ve upgraded / migrated to the 2.0 release. Personally I just keep the older versions on my plugin list but deactivated in case I ever need to access them again; but if you’re not concerned with that, just deleting (either via FTP or straight from the backend of the site) should work fine.
Rob
MemberHi Andrew. Always happy to help out on issues such as this one. What would happen if you deactivated PRO (so, just TEC was showing); went back and enabled it to display again in free; then re-activated PRO?
Rob
MemberHey Andrew. This change looks like it was caused when we switched over to the latest Google Maps API for 2.0. Since the other features of this upgrade were necessary and so we’re staying with the newest API available, we probably wouldn’t want to switch back. You think you could accomplish what you’re going for by just including the Google Maps button as well, so users could go over and get directions on the Google side if they want them?
Rob
MemberHey John. Sent you over an email about this too. There was an issue in the 2.0 code that threw title tags out of whack, but was fixed in 2.0.1. The result should be: http://cl.ly/3f052O1J1B0A223W230c.
Have you updated to 2.0.1 yet? Let me know if so and whether the issue persisted at that point.
Rob
MemberAh, gotcha. What theme is that you’re on there? Since this isn’t occurring on my default install it definitely looks to be theme-specific, but I can see if our developer has any suggestions for how to line that up if you can point me to the theme in question…
Rob
MemberWe struggled with this one during the development process; there were arguments on both sides but it ultimately came down on including them for the broader microformat value they provided. But if you’re not concerned with that I can certainly get a dev to take a look at what it’d take to disable them…
