ParticipantHi Stephen,
I took a look at your site and I definitely see the big gray box. I am wondering if you might check out a couple things for me…
When editing the event, look on the right hand column for “Featured Image”. Is anything there, or was there and maybe removed? Sometimes this happens if there is an image set, but the path is incorrect or the image doesn’t exist anymore.
Let me know!

ParticipantHi Daniel,
Good question! You can edit the customer’s order in WooCommerce > Orders. When in this screen, you can change the billing details for the customer, save the changes, and more importantly for you, you can resend the ticket in the Order Actions box (top right of the screen).
Does this make sense? Will this work for you? Please let me know.
Thanks!
Ronald
ParticipantHello,
I have not been able to reproduce this but I was wondering if you could send me your exact setup (theme, plugins, and version #’s)? That might be able to help me get to the bottom of the problem. I don’t need a list of ALL your plugins, but could you send me the ones you use from Modern Tribe?
Thanks,
Ronald
ParticipantHey Jack,
Yes, please do give it a try but I believe the fix is actually slated for the next release if I am reading the notes correctly. I think it is important you update no matter what as we fixed a security issue!
I am going to mark this thread “Pending Fix” and will update you tomorrow as to what I find out.
Thanks!
Ronald
ParticipantGreat Pieter!
It was a pleasure.

ParticipantHi Jeremy,
Custom fields are available, but while researching, it appears that adding images in those custom fields is a problem. The reason is because we strip HTML tags. This is for security and safety reasons.
I’m sorry for the bad news but I do suggest you make a feature request to add the ability to attach images to custom fields (rather than a link). Others might be interested in this feature as well.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Ben,
I do not use that particular app but here are the general steps and a couple items for troubleshooting.
How to check in using Ticket Plus’s QR Codes:
- Get an App for your phone or tablet that can read QR codes (Scan for IOS<span class=”Apple-converted-space”> </span>is an example)
- Setup the Scanner App to open in a browser or in the app itself (I used Chrome as my browser with the app and signed in there)
- In either sign into your site with at least a author level account or create a special account with edit_posts and read capabilities (User Role Editor is an easy plugin to do this with)
- Scan the QR Code and you will get a success message such as “This Ticket with ID xxxx was checked in.”
If you are just seeing the event page with no success message it does not recognize you as logged in.
Also, check Safari cookie settings. Make sure that cookies are set to “Always allow”.
Let me know if you have any luck,
Thanks,
Ronald
ParticipantHI Brett!
The short answer is yes. You can do what you are asking with RSVP’s. You can limit the amount, etc. Here is a link to an article on how to do it.
Let me know if this answers your question!

ParticipantHi Shea,
There are a couple possible solutions to this. The first is to change it where we discussed, but as you guessed, this will be overwritten when you update. Another option is to add a snippet to your themes functions.php file. This is what you would add:
%s‘,
esc_url( tribe_get_map_link( $postId ) ),
esc_html__( ‘Click to view a Google Map’, ‘the-events-calendar’ ),
‘MY NEW STRING!’);
return $html;
}?>
This is untested but I think you get the idea?

ParticipantHi Ben,
Can you let me know which QR reader you are using? We usually see this problem when the site doesn’t recognize you as logged in so I want to eliminate that possibility first.
Thanks!
Ronald
ParticipantHey guys,
Can each of you let me know which versions(s) you are on?
Thanks!
Ronald
ParticipantHi Shea,
I believe I can help you out with this.
You are correct that you don’t want to copy the function and put it into functions.php but I do believe you are looking in the right place.
If I can ask you a quick question, what text is it that you want to change? Is it: ‘Click to view a Google Map’? If so, it is in the functions/template-tags/google-map.php on line 46 (right where you were looking), You can change it there with no issues. If it is other text, let me know!
Thanks,
Ron

ParticipantHi Dan, and thanks for checking out WooCommerce Tickets.
Great question! The remaining tickets do not display on the front end by default. However,<span class=”Apple-converted-space”> </span>there is a way to make that happen<span class=”Apple-converted-space”> </span>with a few lines of code.
Would this work for you? Please let me know.
Ronald
ParticipantHi Aindreas,
I would be happy to do so. I will let you know as soon as I see something.
