MemberHi Frank,
Thanks for getting in touch. None of our plugins currently allow users to pay to submit events. It may be possible to achieve with some customization to our Community Events plugin, but that’s not really something we can support. Unfortunately, I don’t know of another plugin that allows what you’re looking for.

MemberHi Tom,
Thanks for getting in touch. If you are interested in using our plugin, you will need to use WordPress open source software and host the site yourself instead of using WordPress.com.
Unfortunately we can’t really help you get your site set up. I recommend that you head over to http://wordpress.org/ and learn more about the software and your various options for hosting, development, etc.

MemberHi David,
Currently we do not have a plugin that can do both of these things. Our plugin Community Events allows users to submit events, but at this time WooTickets can only be added to those submitted events by an administrator.
You may be able to achieve your goals with some customization, but that would require some complex developer knowledge and is not something we can assist you with.

MemberHi Linda,
Thanks for getting in touch. I recommend that you check out a plugin like User Roles which will let you restrict abilities to different user types. You’ll be able to test out plugins with our free core plugin, The Events Calendar. If you find something that works for you, it’s very likely that the plugin that works with The Events Calendar will also work with PRO.

MemberThanks for the screen shots Gareth. That definitely looks like a theme conflict, so I think getting in touch with the theme dev will be your best bet.

MemberHi Fred,
Our Community Events plugin allows users to submit events, although there is no built-in way to limit the submission by venue or date. You can give managers different abilities on the back-end using a user role plugin. That includes changing events submitted by users. However, I don’t believe there is a built-in way to limit managers to single venues. These things may be possible with some third-party customization, but are not currently part of the plugin. Does that answer your question?

MemberI meant to add that you should check out our demo site at wpshindig.com to see a full demo of the WooTickets checkout process.
Leah
MemberHi Nabha,
The default checkout process for WooTickets does include adding the tickets to a shopping cart. It may be possible, with third party customization, to skip that step. But I can’t be sure. You might want to get in touch with the WooCommerce support team, as they would likely be able to shed further light on this issue.

MemberHi Lionel,
I know that other people have also tried using WPML with our calendar, to differing success. It seems to work sometimes but not always, and it’s not something that we can support. I recommend that you search the PRO forum (tri.be/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/) for other people who have used it, and perhaps you’ll find some helpful insight. Also, you can download our free core plugin, The Events Calendar, and work on integrating that without having to spend any money.

MemberHi Lars,
There is not currently any waiting list feature in PRO or our two ticketing plugins, Eventbrite Tickets and WooTickets. That’s a very cool idea though! It would definitely be useful. There’s a possibility that it would something you could customize using PRO plus WooTickets, but only for an experienced and creative developer willing to put the time in.

MemberI’m afraid not. It’s simply an exportation of data, there’s no continued relationship/syncing.

MemberHi Colin,
You can export events from The Events Calendar to iCal, Outlook, or Google Calendar, but it is not possible to import events from those programs. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Gareth,
Thanks for your interest. I’m not entirely clear on what you mean in your first question, but a screengrab and some more details would be helpful.
From you second question, it sounds like your theme may be conflicting somewhat with the plugin. We do our best to make our plugin very compatible, but of course with so many themes out there we cannot guarantee. If may be possible to fix the sidebar and other issues with some customizations to the plugin and/or the theme. I recommend that you get in touch with the theme dev to see if they can shed some light on the issue.
Before you purchase, I recommend that you continue to test on The Events Calendar plugin, so that you don’t need to pay anything. Our PRO add-on gives you more functionality, but the base is the same so generally, a theme that works nicely in core will also look nice in PRO.

MemberHi Ramon,
I’m not sure I entirely understand your questions- if you’d like the ability for your users to sign up and pay for events, you’ll want to purchase either WooTickets.
Generally when a user purchases tickets the only information needed is their contact and payment information. It may be possible for you to include addition questions there, but that would likely be more on the WooCommerce side of things and may also require some customization or development. I recommend that you explore the WooCommerce support materials to learn more about the possibilities there.

MemberHi Tai,
Thanks for your interest. Events Calendar PRO has a feature called Venue pages, which link from events and show venue information as well as a list of events at that venue. You can see an example at our demo site, http://wpshindig.com/venue/the-tribal-lair/.
In the current version of PRO you can link directly to these venue pages via your WordPress custom menu builder. When we release Events Calendar PRO 3.0 later this spring, we will also release a separate filters plugin that will allow users to search events by venue and other criteria.
Cheers,
