It’s not that. In the LIST widget there is an option to SHOW ALL EVENTS where it takes you to a DAY view. CALENDAR has not such thing. You see 5 events or however many you choose and you are stuck with it.

Why is the directory for the Tribe-events changes in the theme directory , since the theme directory is overwritten on upgrade. I have tried to create a Child-theme which would be used in exchange, but it creates more problems. Just a thought.Hi Casey!.. You are a genius! Just your touch I guess. I had hoped that someone would at least respond with a hello by now. However, the issue with the update and the disappearing calendar appears to have been the snippet in the functions.php to fix the recurring EVENTS GRAYED out button. In Case someone else did not comment this snippet out.

I have updated them all and community events gives me the same error it did the first time. I have deactivated it for now. IF you can help soon that would be great. IF not, I will revert back to the one that works. 3.0.1. Please let me know.Last time I did that it broke them. Tell me this. I added some script to the functions.php to allow Recurring events to be updated in the last version. Perhaps this is causing the issue. Is it ok to remove those lines with 3.1?
yes, I updated everything to 3.1. Template overrides? I am using the default Theme template. Does that count?
Ok.. I think the problem was with my backend APC opcode cache which had to be cleared. It’s all a mystery.. Thanks for your help. Please close this issue.
yeah.. thanks .. not uncomfortable.. just didn’t work. Do you think it matters WHERE in the file? I put it at the bottom, so I know where it is.. Maybe if I move it to the top?
