    all I see when I go to choose a date is the words All Day Event:

    I had hoped that someone would at least respond with a hello by now. However, the issue with the update and the disappearing calendar appears to have been the snippet in the functions.php to fix the recurring EVENTS GRAYED out button. In Case someone else did not comment this snippet out.
