    Hey,

Thanks for sending that information however according to our support policies we’re unable to accept login credentials or login to customer sites due to the potential liability. I apologize for any inconvenience. If you would like though, you can still send a database dump to the previous email address.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

This actually does help since it shows that there doesn’t appear to be anything out of the ordinary in the user role permissions so that doesn’t appear to be the issue here.

A couple of things to help me do a little further digging:

    1. Can you link me to the community events submission form on your site?
    2. Are events allowed to be submitted by non-logged in users?
    3. Can you resend, in a private reply, the subscriber login information? I should be able to use that in accordance with our credentials policy. I accidentally deleted that information when I deleted the admin login.

    Thanks!

    Hey Adage,

Sorry for the confusion here. That is just saying that it is getting the contents of the “/views/pro/widgets/modules/single-event.php” and outputting it there. So, to further customize, you can edit that file (by copying to your theme at the appropriate location) to get the venue to display where you would like.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for following up as well as going through the conflict testing procedures.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept support credentials and login to user sites for support. I did have an additional thought here, I wonder if there have been any plugins that have modified any of the user role capabilities. Since these are added to the database, they won’t necessarily be removed when deactivating plugins.

Do you currently have any modified capabilities on your site? You can find these within the wp_options table within your database under “wp_user_roles”.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Kevin,

Thanks for following up with us!

I see what you’re referring to now. For the map view, the pins on the map only show for the current events displaying on the page. If I paginate on your site to the events on January 30th, the market shows on the map for your event https://cloudup.com/cPp45g50MzT. Also, here is the link for this view http://dancingcircles.com/events/?action=tribe_geosearch&tribe_paged=5&tribe_event_display=map.

Let me know if this helps clarify things.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for following up with us!

I’m sorry to hear about the duplication of events when importing. Do you happen to still have those duplicated events within your site and database? If so, would you be willing to send a database dump for your site to support[at]theeventscalendar.com. This way I can look at the meta for each event and particularly the Facebook ID associated with the events and see if they are the same for the duplicated version of the events.

    Thanks!

    Hey Tracey,

The first thing I would like to do is figure out what may be going on on the site that is preventing the correct, default behavior when just our plugins and a default theme are used. Based on what you’re describing, when you have just our plugins and a default theme activated, the events included in the main blog loop aren’t being displayed and output as expected.

The expected output in the above scenario is for just current and past events (not future events) to be included in the loop and displayed in order based on the event date and not the date the event was published on (like the regular blog posts).

With this in mind, it sounds like your theme is currently handling the alternative that you are looking for (displaying based on “Posted on” date rather than the event date) however, the other issue of future events getting included and cluttering your loop is still persisting from above.

So, if we’re able to narrow in on what is causing the above inclusion of the future events, we should hopefully fix the issues you’re having with your chosen theme whenever it is active.

To help in diagnosing then, would you mind emailing a database dump from your site to support[at]theeventscalendar.com?

    Thanks!

    Hey Karen,

No problem and thanks for following up!

I’m glad you were able to get the exclusion issue worked out. That is definitely an interesting note about exclusions and worth bringing up to our team.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

    Thanks for providing the link!

I’ve found a bug that has been reported and will have an update coming soon to address the issue. To verify that we’re dealing with the same situation here, can you try changing the setting for the “End of day cutoff” to be 2am? Then go back and check the iCal file and see if that makes the dates display properly.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey Diane,

    Thanks for following up.

Can you try turning on WP_DEBUG for your site. This should allow for more information to show on the screen rather than just the blank page and will help us to determine what may be happening here. You can reply with any notices that show as a private reply if you would like.

    Thanks!

    Hey Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Would you mind linking me to a page of the Map View that has the events that aren’t getting added to the map? I took a look at your site and was able to verify the pins showing for all of the events for the first 4 pages of events within the map view.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

You can definitely remove the add new options by following our Themer’s Guide and copying the “venue.php” module from within the “views” folder of the Community Events plugin into your theme and removing those fields altogether.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!
