JosephParticipant
Thanks! That did the trick.
JosephParticipantHi again,
As another test, I switched the calendar to list view and downloaded its ICS file. The list view showed events between Sept and Nov. When I looked at the ICS file, it not only contained SEPT/OCT/NOV events, but ALL future events through til June (the last event entered).JosephParticipantHi Barry,
Thanks for the quick reply. I switched to Twenty Twelve and deactivated all plugins except for the calendar (3.0.5), but navigating to October to download its events still nets an ICS file containing September’s entries. BTW, due to another bug where the button to download ICS files was not appearing on the calendar page, I had followed this advice and inserted the snippet into calendar’s PHP: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ical-download-button-appearing-only-on-first-view-and-single-view/#post-62952
JosephParticipantOk, thanks for the quick response. We’ll hold off on using the ticketing plugin then.
JosephParticipantHi Barry,
That’s good news. When will the fix be available for download? Also, do you know if this fix also fixes the issue where NO tickets got sent with the confirmation email?
Thanks!
JosephParticipantThanks. Are the two issues related to the known bug? I.e., #1) initial confirmation email sent to client did not include PDF tickets, #2) toggling the status to resend the confirmation generates a new email with tickets but with double the number of tickets.
JosephParticipantHi,
Thanks for the response! Yes, I’m on WooCommerce 1.6.6, Events Calendar Pro 2.0.11 and Wootickets 1.0.1. This situation had occurred shortly after I had updated to 1.0.1.
JosephParticipantBTW, I still haven’t discovered why the original email did not contain any PDFs. The product has “Downloadable” and “Virtual” both set to True. Manage Stock was set to False though. Before I toggled the order status from Completed to Processing to Completed, I changed “Managed Stock” to True and set an inventory to 100. I’m not sure if this caused the emails to start attaching PDFs again.
February 3, 2013 at 7:56 am in reply to: Feature request – Automatic sending of PDF after PayPal payment #32030JosephParticipantThanks for the response, Tony. Yes, I know and that’s what we’ve resorted to doing.
The feature wishlist request would be for WooTickets to either automatically create products with for downloadable ticket products with these two settings or to provide a setting to always automatically do this for downloadable ticket products so that the customer experience mirrors that of common event sites. Given that WooTicket PDF tickets sort of meet WooCommerce’s definitions for “downloadable” and for “virtual” (no dimensions, shipment info needed, etc.), it would be great if WooTicket were to create the WooCommerce products with these two properties activated.
