ParticipantHi Joseph,
The tooltips actually automatically show on the left or right depending on if the event is closer to the beginning or end of the week. If you wanted to adjust or change how this works you would need to modify the CSS and possibly some of the javascript, which you are completely free to do but we cannot help you with this type of customization. Good luck!

ParticipantHi Joseph,
I’m not quite sure what template builder is. Is that a plugin or a feature of your theme? In either case you’ll need to contact the plugin/theme author to have them add support for custom post types and/or specifically the CPT used by our plugin ‘tribe_events’.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantHi Vivek,
I was able to confirm the issue myself but do not know what the problem is. I’ve passed it on to one of our developers to try and figure it out. Stay tuned.
Thanks,

ParticipantHah, those darn permalinks! Well, glad you got it figured out. Let us know if there’s anything else you need help with.

ParticipantYes it is, do you not have PRO installed?

ParticipantHi Ramtin,
It does work with permalinks set to postname, you just need to update your link to the events page to be http://www.datewithamate.com.au/index.php/events/
The underlying issue (menu disappearing with default permalinsk) has been identified as a bug and will be fixed ASAP in an upcoming version.
I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else.

ParticipantSounds like a theme/CSS related issue. Got a link I can look at?

ParticipantHi Andrew,
Be sure to try the following:
1. Are you running the latest version of WordPress.
2. Are you running the latest versions of our plugins (2.0.7)
3. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?
4. Have you tried reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s something with your theme?
5. Try setting your permalinks to ‘postname’ in Settings > Permalinks
6. Try refreshing your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks (it does it automatically)
7. Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/Let me know how that goes.
Unfortunately it’s not possible to limit the content of the event description without some custom solution. Good suggestion though. You might want to add it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Tom,
We’re still working on it and will get it out the door as soon as we can.

ParticipantHi guys,
You can set the default country in Settings > The Events Calendar > Defaults but unfortunately the Default State doesn’t work and we’ve got a bug ticket out to fix this. If you want to remove the fields you can make a copy of /wp-content/plugins/events-community/views/venue-meta-box.php and place in an ‘events/community’ folder in your theme and then comment or remove the country/state fields.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantHi guys,
Unfortunately there is no option for using a different page template at this time although we will likely add an option for it in the future. For now you’ve got to work with page.php. Let me know if you guys have any other questions on this.
Cheers,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Kyle,
You can use the built in WordPress function do_shortcode() to spit out any shortcode anywhere in your templates. http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode
I hope that helps.

ParticipantHi Sammy,
Unfortunately there’s no other workaround. You’ll either need to get pretty permalinks working or wait for a release to fix this issue. You might want to check with your web host for help in getting the permalinks working and you can reference this article as well for additional help on that: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
I hope that helps!
