ParticipantHi Chip,
There can be issues importing events that have any restrictions for viewing such as age limits like a 21+ show. Have you tried taking this off the event to see if that makes any difference?

ParticipantHi Nico,
Let’s stick to one issue in this thread – for the other issue, please open another thread.
You said you are seeing past events when using your code in the Events widget but I do not see any past events there nor do I see any past events returned via the query when I use your code in my setup. I need some specific examples of where/when past events are displayed using your code.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Chip,
Where are you trying to import from a Facebook Page or Organization or a Group or personal profile? Can you paste the actual ID here so I can try it out on my end?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Emily,
Have you tried deactivating all other plugins or reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if there is a conflict going on? If that doesn’t do anything, you might want to try increasing the PHP memory for your site: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
Let me know if any of that works for you.

ParticipantHi Nico,
Where on your page is your code displaying results? I see the Upcoming Events widget but I don’t see any past events in it. I need a very specific example to look at to troubleshoot, along with the exact code you are currently working with. Ideally you can give me an example of an event or events to create in my own setup and test against your code. So, should I work with the code you posted above? What dates/times for events should I input to test against this?
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi James,
Taking your example, I added another table row with the function to return the venue name: http://snippi.com/s/f2kzsd5
Does that help?

ParticipantYou’re welcome Dan. Sorry I can’t offer up more here. We do have making permalinks more flexible on our list of enhancements but there’s no ETA at this point… Good luck!

ParticipantSounds good Jon, thanks for the update. Let us know if there’s anything else you need help with.

ParticipantHi Summer,
You can modify the template of this widget by making a copy of /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/views/events-advanced-list-load-widget-display.php and placing in an ‘events’ folder in your active theme. Then, take a look at this tutorial for how to include the featured image from an event in our Next Event Widget: /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/views/events-advanced-list-load-widget-display.php – the instructions are very similar for this other widget. You’ll just need to figure out where to place the code.
Does that help?

ParticipantHi ML,
Please check whether you are running your website in compatibility mode in IE9 which could be the cause of the problem. Try switching compatibility mode off to see if that fixes things.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Dan,
Unfortunately there’s no current way around this. If your website is in the root directory, the plugin has to use the root as it’s base. You cannot prepend another layer to it. There’s probably a way to do it somehow but we do not have the bandwidth to be able to support this level of customization at the moment. The only thing I can think of is to use a third party redirection plugin or your own custom redirect rules to add the /members/ path to the slug. Sorry I can’t offer up more here.
Cheers,

ParticipantTodd & Victoria, just a quick question, are either of you using the shortcode to display the form instead of the auto permalink? If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you’re likely using the auto permalink.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi beeldenstorm,
There is no easy way that I can think of to pull in a calendar from another site in an MU setup. The only thing I can think of is to use something like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedwordpress/ and schedule events from your other site to be imported into a specific events category and then display just that category on the page. But that’s kind of messy and complicated and unfortunately something we won’t be able to help you with. Good luck!
