Hi there,
We’ve been asked to add Events Pro into a site structure one level down and can’t get the following structure to run:
/members/events/
/members/events-index/
Neither are allowed as they’re one level down into the site. We don’t want to put them anywhere else as this is the structure we need for a members area of the site where only logged in members can see the events.
Thanks
Unfortunately there’s no current way around this. If your website is in the root directory, the plugin has to use the root as it’s base. You cannot prepend another layer to it. There’s probably a way to do it somehow but we do not have the bandwidth to be able to support this level of customization at the moment. The only thing I can think of is to use a third party redirection plugin or your own custom redirect rules to add the /members/ path to the slug. Sorry I can’t offer up more here.
Thanks Jonah
I’m sure we can find a way to get the redirect though it might be a bit of a hack. Alternative is to put members into a subdomain and run it all from there and maintain with multisite. Could be overkill though!

You’re welcome Dan. Sorry I can’t offer up more here. We do have making permalinks more flexible on our list of enhancements but there’s no ETA at this point… Good luck!
