ParticipantBarry,
On my test site, you can see the odd behavior is still at work. This is with the latest Events Calendar plugins and the latest WordPress and with the default theme and all plugins except EC and the RSS plugin deactivated. See these 2 screenshots:
Error in raw feed: http://test.bestofnj.com/files/2013/10/screen-feed.jpg
Error on front end: http://test.bestofnj.com/files/2013/10/screen-rss-front.jpgJohn

ParticipantI think it has to do with the custom post type. I will have to do another test on the default theme and no plugins tomorrow morning. I will get right back with you after I get some sleep.

ParticipantIf we don’t hide this non value, can we help RSS find the value? I think it is looking for event category.

ParticipantThanks Casey.
Can I say that you guys really need to find a better support forum format. I have no way of keeping track of the issues that I am working on and I NEVER get any follow up emails.

ParticipantBraffen,
I just removed the custom text for now. I have no idea what is wrong with the code.

ParticipantTribe,
Just so you know, our solution was suggested by Casey on this post: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/alternatives-to-add-event/#post-58558
That solution causes errors and should not be used. I know everyone is away for the weekend, but this needs some attention when you guys get back.

ParticipantBraffenberg,
I’ve got the same issue. I don’t have a resolution for you yet, but I just wanted you to know you are not alone. I will let you know when I find something.

ParticipantAndy,
That worked. You’ve done it again!

ParticipantBarry, This is the last version of what I tried:

ParticipantHi Barry,
I just tried this again because I have a client that needs to update an event. When I put this code into my themes functions.php file, the site goes down. I must be formatting something wrong. I swear I had it right. I really need a solution here!

ParticipantBarry, I took out the and the code did not work.

ParticipantThe tab-enter solution works for some issues but not all. I will have to test the Javascript solution again.

ParticipantBarry, I tried the temp code fix and it did not work. It seems to me that there were big problems with the format of that code anyway. I am not a coder, but I know some things were woggy there.

ParticipantThanks Barry for the fast response. What I did not mention is that it makes the popup inoperable.

ParticipantThanks Leah!
