Thanks George 🙂
StuartParticipantAlso same issues here after the latest update.
I’ve done manual imports on all scheduled imports now and seeing no Featured Images. I’m only using Facebook imports. I will set a couple to Hourly ready for the next update.

StuartParticipantHi Hunter,
I still have the same issue with everything disabled and the Twenty Sixteen theme active.
Some Facebook pages are fine, but some like this always throw up the error. I’ve tried one time import and setting up a schedule and getting the same error. I checked with the Page owner and there appears to be no restrictions on their page, as per the screenshots they took for me.
Cheers

StuartParticipantHi,
It has happened since. Hopefully it has fixed itself now. All my other imports are working OK too.
Best closing this thread I reckon and if it happens again I’ll reopen or refer to this thread.
Cheers, and thanks for looking into it.

StuartParticipantHi Hunter,
I think I have solved the problem, but you may want to look into it still because it could cause others the same problem.
It appears that I hadn’t yet published the event in question, so I believe it was duplicating the venue each time it checked it. I have since cleared up the backend with the duplicate venues and published the event – and it has stopped duplicating now… But that could be because no changes have been made to that event yet. Fingers crossed when the promoter does I won’t see any problems 🙂
On a side note, Facebook import was following the instruction to use the global import setting for the default event category and I was manually having to select it when publishing. I have now told it to specifically use Trance Event.
StuartParticipantIt appears that it duplicates the venue it whenever it checks the event for syncing any changes, but I can’t be too sure at the moment as I haven’t tracked how many days it has been (I’ve recently set the import to check daily).
StuartParticipantHi Hunter,
It is only the one venue that it is happening to.
This is the page I’m importing from: https://www.facebook.com/ilovetrancemusiccom/
This is the Facebook event being imported: https://www.facebook.com/events/209734976113807/

StuartParticipantThanks Geoff!

April 28, 2016 at 10:44 am in reply to: Facebook tab not loading import button at bottom of page #1108348StuartParticipantThanks for the check on a large number of IDs Hunter – I will ask them to look into things. Likewise you too 🙂
April 27, 2016 at 12:16 pm in reply to: Facebook tab not loading import button at bottom of page #1107850StuartParticipant2014 theme, all plugins apart from The Events Calendar plugins activated. Removed all IDs that threw up an error last time and sadly I’m still still seeing it stall 🙁
Please note, I don’t think the issue is to do with the number of events it is importing in, but the number of Facebook IDs it is having to collect events from. I advise you trying to collect events from 15+ Facebook pages with active events such as those I have listed and see if you can replicate the issue.
Kind regards
Stuart
