DanParticipant
Hi Hunter thank you for your kind help,
Regarding your answrr: Do you see any notice in your WordPress admin dashboard along the lines of, “You have 2 venues for which we don’t have geolocation data….”? If so, can you please select the “Fix Venues Data” button and see if that has an effect on the behavior?
By pushing “Fix Venues Data” we get the same error message as when we add a new location
La latitude et la longitude pour le lieu de votre événement n’ont pas pu être trouvés. La limite de l’API de Google Maps a été atteinte pour votre serveur.
We have fully activated Google API in paid mode so it should not be a question of limits … especially as on the pages itself the location is always displayed and correct … only the global map shows issues
Not easy 🙂
DanParticipantnot sure … think you will have quite a lot of fixing for the next release
DanParticipantSorry to have to clarify this again, but you said:
yes we deactivated all plugins under theme the7
YES Confirmed
So did you have the7 theme active while experiencing the conflict with the Go Pricing plugin?
YES Confirmed
If yes, might the conflict instead be with the theme (test by deactivating Go Pricing)? If yes, did you try just the parent theme and not the child theme being active?
CHILD Theme was active, the only plugin affecting fetching events was GO_Pricing
If not, might the conflict only exist if you have both the7 theme (parent and/or child) and Go Pricing plugin active together (maybe why I couldn’t reproduce the issue)?
YES confirmed …
DanParticipantWe are still busy with the other issues George
if you can help would be great !
=> we cant add more than one location …
DanParticipantstill struggling
we managed to publish one correctly … but could not repeat and we dont understand why it should work once and not twice ??
the same location duplicate shows an error … really strange
look at the screenshots
best
danDanParticipantyes this is what we did
1. as we encountered many errors we went through this process many time by now
2. Google Mapping is et up correctly with a premium account and locations are show correctly within the event=> it is only the full map view which makes problems
as stated in the post before we made some progress => the events we entered earlier DO NOT show up, we entered a new location and this shows up but with wrong coordinates
Example One – New Entry => perfect mapping within the event page
http://gemelliwln.cluster007.ovh.net/cancer_dev/event/352/but wrong mapping for the same location an the same event in the global map
http://gemelliwln.cluster007.ovh.net/cancer_dev/events/categorie/evenements/carte/Example Two – old entries
perfect mapping on the event page
http://gemelliwln.cluster007.ovh.net/cancer_dev/event/352/No Mapping at allon global Map
http://gemelliwln.cluster007.ovh.net/cancer_dev/events/categorie/evenements/carte/NOW seeing these issues, it is not a bug within our theme or other plugins, version 4.4.3 is just full of bugs and as we speak about a premium product you should not have released it as it is lower than a Beta Release.
to make a long story short we feel repeating since a week,
it is frustrating and we feel doing the debugging for you guys
when you sell a premium plugin is it not you the vendor who should and has all interest in the worl to be compatble with “at least” state of the art themes and other plugins ?
sorry again but your expensive plugin is not currently (our experience) at the level of its promise / cost
we can provide you access to our development environment and wordpress site, it should not be a big issue for you to rapidly see what the issue is and to fix it right ?
please advise
best,
danDanParticipantLooks better like this right
the solution was straight forward but unfortunately
“is not coming from our plugins, full stop”
shows not a great support here
but maybe other people will stumble upon the same problem if they run a site using your plugin in French or Multilanguage
DanParticipantand there is an additional issue we found out just now
Filtering on “Categories” does not work for “Recurring Events”
these events are simply not displayed
well well
DanParticipant… and it is not coming from “our” translations … we are using wordpress in french without any translation plugins installed
on the contratry “theventscalendar” does not cope with /all / alle / tous in multiple languages
sorry George but this is what we have analysed since a week now going back and forth here in the forum
DanParticipanthi George
I don’t like your FULL STOP
if it shows a min in your plugin there is something about it
what we dont like either is doing reverse engineering on our development time to tell you what is ot working in your plugin …
NOW
we did the “troubleshooting steps” a few times now and always found out it was an incompatibility issue due to the eventscalendar …
an yes there are other issues and working with threats is way too slow especally if we always get the answer …
” I would recommend the complete set of troubleshooting steps”
if you state that you are the best Calendar plugin around you should also be compatible with top standard themes and plugins out there … cause you are not alone and testing the calendar only under one standard theme and one language will not help you to remain on the market for long
…
February 23, 2017 at 3:17 pm in reply to: After plugin update, issues with translated /all redirecting to 404 page persist #1244879DanParticipantYes indeed 4.4.3 still does not work
Would WPML bring a solution to this or what is advised ?
Moving back to 4.0 because we discovered many other issues
Dan
DanParticipantHi George did you have a chance to have a look at it
as you can see in our other threads we were also facing issues with
1. translation of slug /all /tous /alle
2. correct long lat positionning in Google Maps
3 and a strange min in the header of the Calendar Date and Time
4. was the Facebook fetching issueYou see it is quite a pain to get it running …
Thanks for all your help,

Thanks for all your help,
DanDanParticipantyes we deactivated all plugins under theme the7
then we realized by a lengthy trial and error that Go_Pricing was the only activated plugin causing the problem

DanDanParticipantHi Cliff
If I understand your workaround well it only fixes English to German mode .. BUT
1. what happens for French language because “/tous” also triggers a 404
and
2. what happens in a multilanguage environment where you have franch, german and english running WPML for instance
could you advise before we move on ?
thanks
