I don’t have a link to my website because I’m evaluating the events calendar on my local computer.

    Try this to duplicate:
    – add an event with a ticket of $20,000
    – look at the cost slider on the filter bar

If you slide the slider ALL the way down to the start, it is around $22,000 as you can see here:
    slider

In other words, the entire range of the slider $22,000 – $100,000 is above the cost of any of the tickets in the system.

You actually have to slide it past the starting square (to the left) to even get into the range of where your tickets are, as shown here: slider

and the space between $0 and $22,000 is so incredibly small it’s not really usable for selecting the range.

My issue is not that it goes all the way to zero. My issue is that to get it to zero you have to go PAST the starting point (in other words OUTSIDE of the slider itself) – which is a bug.

The checkboxes are awful because it puts categories in there like $50,000-$75,000 and $75000-$100000 for which there are no tickets.

I really don’t feel that the proper functioning of the slider when dealing with higher priced tickets should be a “feature” request.

I also don’t think I should have to hire a programmer to fix a bug in your product and honestly resent your asking me to.

okay, thanks – I did that, and also added votes for the items to include the ability to include the event’s tickets and specify it’s featured image. It seems like the importer should allow you to import all of the data associated with the event. Am nervous because the site I’m building has a LOT of events and I told the client they’d be able to import them all with a CSV… I hadn’t understood that the imports were only partial.

BTW, is it possible that when you fix that you also look at adding commas into the price when it’s displayed? It’s kind of tough to read without it (e.g., $10,000 instead of $10000).

Thanks, George – I wound up using this KB article to rename Organizer to Speaker and so will just use that instead.
