Location search only returning 1 result per page

I created 6 events. Two of these are at venues in California

I’ve set my map view search distance limit to 200 miles.
I set my number of events to show per page to 50 – although it seems to be ignoring this and acting as if it were set to 5/page.

When I search on California it returns a list that ONLY contains the first event. I have to click “Previous” events to see the second event. This doesn’t make sense. Please help! It shouldn’t limit the results to 1/page.

[Note to duplicate: the events were added as follows: 1st CA event, 4 other non-CA events, 2nd CA event – I think the issue is that it thinks it should only display 5/page and it is remembering that the first is on page 1, the second on page 2. If that makes sense…]
