I created a CSV for my events – some had a single organizer but some had multiple organizers.
The ones with a single organizer were created correctly.
However, the ones with multiple organizers – I placed them all into my organizer field and comma separated them (like you do with multiple categories). However, this didn’t work – for the events with multiple organizers NO organizers were set.
How can I import events with multiple organizers? Thanks!

Good question. I think you are the first person to hit this. You actually can not import multiple organizers via CSV, that’s a limitation in our importer. However, we do have a few more planned improvements for the importer and this could make a good fit with those. If you’re keen to you should suggest this as a feature: UserVoice (feature suggestion page for The Events Calendar) From there other’s can vote their support for it as well.

okay, thanks – I did that, and also added votes for the items to include the ability to include the event’s tickets and specify it’s featured image. It seems like the importer should allow you to import all of the data associated with the event. Am nervous because the site I’m building has a LOT of events and I told the client they’d be able to import them all with a CSV… I hadn’t understood that the imports were only partial.

Our product strategist/leader definitely agrees there. Which is what I mean when I said “we have a few more planned improvements”. We would like to be able to import as many things as reasonably possible via CSV. Some things likely won’t be importable, like recurring event patterns. But many more fields will be and I think multiple organizers is a strong candidate. These improvements are tentatively slotted for version 4.2 of our plugin. We are working on 4.1 right now and its due out in a month or two.
If you’re not happy with the plugin let us know. I dislike manual entry as well. We do offer a 30 day refund window if you’re unsatisfied. I’d hate to see you go, but certainly don’t want you to keep something you don’t want either.
