ParticipantI figured out the problem, there was this:
date_default_timezone_set(‘America/New_York’);
in my functions.php
I took it out and the times were correctSeptember 19, 2013 at 3:26 pm in reply to: When using Facebook Social Publisher Posts Dead Links #66880cristiana
ParticipantThis is not the Facebook Events plugin, it is the official plugin from Facebook. I use it to publish my content to my facebook page. My issue is that when an event is published an organizer and venue are also published, and those go out as dead links to /organizer and /venue/ .
My question is can I stop the organizer and venues from being published ? I don’t use them in my site and they are just causing me problemscristiana
ParticipantMy wordpress site is set to New York

ParticipantRegardless, I will explain further, I am using the Facebook plugin which publishes posts automatically to my Facebook page using what is called ‘Social Publisher’. When I use this every time I get those two dead links posted to my wall.
Is it possible to not publish the venue and organizer? I don’t use them and they just cause those issues with meHere is the image again, as dropbox seems to have eaten the other one

ParticipantSorry I took so long to reply,
I changed it to UTC and the time was correct, however I do not want to keep it that way as my blog is not UTC. I also just did a test upgrade to 3.0 and the problem still exitstscristiana
ParticipantI changed the roles a while ago, but I didn’t change the admin roles. I just created a new account and the fields show up
cristiana
ParticipantAll those checkboxes are checked. I did notice something when I was taking a screenshot, that when I login as someone other than admin the fields show up and work
cristiana
ParticipantBy custom fields I meant the Additional Fields added from the settings menu
cristiana
ParticipantAll of the extra fields that Events provide are not showing, it looks like a regular wordpress post page. So the dropdowns for organizer, location, show google map, etc (they are missing so I have to go from memory), and my custom fields I added are not showing.

ParticipantI can import events from other pages, so that is probably the case. Thanks
